Ra - they should make courses "fail safe" - impossible to get it wrong - but this would be almost impossible once racing has started. Shouldn't take too many brains to sort it out tho'

Never really travelling at any stage until running on all too late up the straight. I'm wondering if they are saving this horse for another day at Wolverhampton? Noticed a £600 wager was struck - the biggest of the race. It stinks but that's horse racing -**as a five bob note. |

Unlucky with Pistolex Dove, BB - I fancied it myself. It's been a tough month as a lot of the horses will have missed lots of work with the big freeze and some are needing a run or two to get fit again.

Gone for Dream Alliance tomorrow as you will have guessed anyway, assuming the racing is on. I'll be heading up to Haydock in the morning.
Report from the trainer is that he is very well, but he has gone up 9lbs. Going and trip will be fine and he won at Haydock on his only previous visit almost exactly four years ago (where does the time go). Good luck tomorrow guys. |

Back from Haydock, DA seems fine thanks BB, but Tom didn't think he liked the tacky ground at all and was not travelling from the start. Also, got interviewed in the press room live on Radio Wales with the only other non-Welsh member of the syndicate at the racecourse!
