The National Hunt afficianados amongst you were no doubt gnashing their teeth in frustration at the lack of jumps action. Nvertheless, with racing confined to the all-weather at Wolverhampton, the division made only a small loss of 12p despite just the four winners.
razmos marked his return to the big time in fine style with 7/1 winner Smalljohn in what was a tricky looking all-aged handicap. Frankly I thought the winner would struggle off a mark of 62 stepping up in grade, having been ridden by a claimer LTO, but his c/d record now reads 1210421 ( 3-7, 43% ).
Nice one raz. :)
Close behind in 2nd comes last month's runner-up Far From Trouble who had 5/1 winner Miss Firefly and who continues in good form.
So too for that matter does reigning champion flanders who picked up three quid from 3/1 shot Anjomarba to go 3rd.
Poppydog was the day's only other winner with 15/8f Riviera Chic, which was enough for him to go 4th.
Best of luck tomorrow,
blue
