Oh Dear I left it to late to cover Red Admiral as well although he was jumping and travelling well.

My day gets worse.......... forgot I had left" lay field" button set to £1000 at 1.10 and just got caught with Charm school..........
No more bets today. Kind of thought once you announce you were impressed with a horse`s jumping sod`s law would come into play :D

That`s how it goes DFC, thank god I reduced to half stakes, my only regret is I did`nt put £100 on in running on the winner, had my finger poised but thought I would wait for a couple more fences, as soon as Ruby came off I clicked but only managed to get £8 matched at 1.2. Could have reduced my losses to £400 and should of. Easy to say that now though. Never back odds on in a novice chase I know.................

Anyway... Well Done team this wee,k maximum points in week 1 is what we wanted.

I never knew you were on that one PDB.......on my thread on GBF I took one look at race and saw 3 runners .....and type of race and LUCKILY ignored it.

I think you said WALSH might get 3 winners today ...and sod's law the one you take does not win...and the other 2 do :(

I've been busy today, taking the plunge and building a new pc from scratch, for the first time!

I've put all the bits together, hopefully wires in the right places, but will leave first power up til tomorrow morning, couldn't face any disappointement of something not working at this time of night lol.

so far so good with new pc, loaded windows 7 now got to see if all the software will work.

I have played early today to hopefully score some points for a change, I have gone with Maljimar in 1.55 Chelt who I think will be travelling strongly coming to the second last but not sure if he will be the strongest finisher coming up the hill so have gone each way.

Have gone with Peppertree Lane at Uttoxeter for up and coming trainer Boxhall. Having quiet day at home in front of TV after delights of Barca last week. Good luck all.

Not too sure of this selection.....but if horse has any potential over fences then this race should bring it ou of it....hope it finishes safely.

thanks but it's such a struggle just to get a measly 3rd lol.

Just back in to see that abysmal run! WD jimnast and UD..............I seem to be going for wrong one of 2 ....BUF BOB was my initial guess as had good weight advantage on going....but went for younger horse ....and by looks of it it is pretty ordinary ( on heavy going)...............might give it a chance on quicker going.....MAYBE !!!!

Away to "suffer" watching SCOTLAND try to score a goal!!!!!

Have gone for a horse I liked last season Zaynar in 2.35 Ascot, only a four year old with a great deal of potential for further improvent, probably go off around 6/4 so not going to be a high scorer but hopefully will take us over the 100 pt barrier.

Have gone with Newbay Prop to slog through heavy ground at Fairyhouse. Tony Martin had a couple run well at Dundalk last night. Also think Snowy Morning will be competitive in the Hennessey. Out for the day so if selection a NR please sub.
Best wishes to PB and team for festive period, hopefully pick up a few winners to pay for all the nonsense. Will be at Warwick on New Years Eve, my favourite (and last) meeting of the year.

Right.. on to the task of finding a winner today, which may be difficult as I have had two consecutive naps in the daily 12/1 & 7/2.............lol so the hat-trick awaits...........hopefully.

After long deliberation...........lol.......... I have sided with Pasco in 2.05 Newbury
I had £6000 on to win £5000 around this time last year but wont be playing anymore than a £100 pre race today so the confidence is sky high not.

Hopefull will win around 5/1 just a sit and watch job now.

I think we just have to stay ahead of the Punts today to clinch Div 2, 3rd overall for the year would be nice :)

I like your selection today ud, but there are also four or five very well handicapped horses in the Hennesey today and if Denman can conceed that much weight and win then he will have to be back to his best. I can`t make up my mind between the very well h`capped horse`s so will look at the prices and the one with the biggest price I will go with in the big race comp.

I always like to look a bit further down the market in these big races and thought that State Of Play has a fair shot at the price, previous winner off same mark, now 10st though, very good record fresh.
Encouraging support in the market, will see later on if there's the trademark "ud selection" no-hoper drift ;)

Does`nt look like we will see much of One Shots race.. unless the fog lift`s.

It's a cracking race, perhaps just beyond him after 2 yrs off, maybe best not burden him further with my nap ;)

Look`s a cracking race ud, not sure how Racing Demon will perform, Albertas returned to form last run aswell. A race to watch, not sure which way the H. Knight stable is going generally, I get the feeling that they are winding down slowly but still have a couple of possible stars at the stable.

As for today I quickly picked out my first selection without really looking at the race, I had a little bit of time so looked at race times and replays and went for the winner who had posted the best course and distance time beating the second placed horse again. Could`nt understand why the presenter on Racing UK said he could not see where the pace was going to come from. Mafeking led and went clear and was run down by Poyle Meg last time they met.

Longest price with Lads, never a good sign, but a race to savour, hope he runs well.

I will be following Hen's Somersby, making nice progress.
