It's about 600 000 votes tho!
By:
lol come on Cider.
If she'd had a good song yesterday she may have snatched it. |
By:
Not a clear winner as everyone expected then.
By:
That should be 20% 1d when they went out.
It's a rather confusing table |
By:
Cripes, I was right to keep the Becca green
Indeed, if she'd done Dylan yesterday it could have been hers |
By:
shouldn't there be a final freeze for the last two?
By:
13% behind at the 1st freeze, down to 7% at the 2nd and 6 at the line.
Even a better winners song may have got her over the line. |
By:
Imagine nearly all the votes were cast before the final two sang one last time.
I would say both Matt and Rebecca kept their best performances till the end. Matt was really good but i thought Rebacca was brilliant with her final song. I think some people might have changed from Matt to Rebacca had there been more time to vote after they both gave their last performances. |
By:
Cardle's percentages were fairly consistent each week. Suggest his fan base was very loyal and big from the start. Whereas Rebecca's percentages were growing every week. Another week contest would have been interesting.
By:
If Matt hadn't have won with that polling it would have been a travesty.
tbf Bex did better than I expected in the final, but I'm sure you'll agree I wasn't far off regarding her polling through the series Her price was miles off. |
By:
a 'wicked game' or dylan from Becca tonight would've helped

Very very close between Waggy and Paije on Paije's exit week
![]() |
By:
Don't agree Cider; if she had nailed it last 2 weeks she'd have won it imo.
Blimey see week 8...any bar matt could have gone out. Mary topped poll week 1..which leak got that right...othh? |
By:
People were still voting for Cher right up to the final count it seems, even though she was out.
By:
Cher bottom week 9
cost me a packet the robbing gits ![]() |
By:
Think Matt's voice going lost him a lot of votes mind.
By:
Week 9 Mary 3.5% ahead of Cher and a mere 2.4% behind 1D.
FFS! ![]() Cowell obv afraid she may have leapfrogged his boys with another regional push! |
By:
Week 9 as we suspected Mary not bottom so they switched to judges...caught red handed [>o]
By:
Matt wins by 5.98 % the rebecca camp were right to say she was in with a real shot...not bad for marmite
By:
cider - Alexandra had a similar progression. She was being stuffed early on too.
I agree though GB2. The voice going will have knocked his vote a little. |
By:
Keeping the votes for 3rd and 4th is distorting the figures somewhat also
By:
Aren't the final figures misleading for 1D and Cher though? They got 18.54% and 15.83% of the original vote.
By:
discounting the eliminated contestants I make it: Matt 53.6%, Rebecca 46.4%
By:
What about Katies % when she was in the botoom two.
Was she bottom on the times it went to deadlock as most people suspected. |
By:
Well, the Big Brother forum is still running after 4 months it ended.
By:
do they actually say on the program that votes already cast still count when they lose a contestant.
By:
I meant was Katie bottom on the times the judges saved her from deadlock.
By:
The way they have presented the figures someone with better maths skills than me should be able to have a stab at how the voting was distributed yesterday / today first freeze / today second freeze?
By:
Much closer than I would have guessed. Clearly Becca won Sunday
By:
1D backers never in with a shout

Adjusted stats from this weekend...
Last four: Matt 39.1%, Rebecca 25.7%, OD 18.5%, Cher 15.8% Last three: Matt 42.6%, Rebecca 35.1%, OD 22.2% Last two: Matt 53.6%, Rebecca 46.4% |
By:
discounting the eliminated contestants I make it: Matt 53.6%, Rebecca 46.4%
3.7% victory ![]() |

By:
She was smashing twitter after sweet dreams. That looks like when she was piling on the votes. It then levelled off after the winners songs.
She just needed a good song yesterday too and it would have been a coin toss |
By:
You were right othh about 1D hovering around the 10-12% mark till the latter stages.
Huge lesson learnt about the need to capture the middle england vote. Cher with stay still couldn't crack 20%. Katies vote was up and down like a whoore's draws. When we have time be interesting to calculate the "bounce" factor to come up with a mathematical formula (well I can dream!). Do we have these from previous years...if so if anyone posts them I will do some number crunching re that. |
By:
The figures prove the integrity of the vote once again.
OD hovering around 3.00 minutes before they were eliminated by a country mile. Wagner trading at his lowest the week before he went, despite never being more than about 1% above the sing off. Etc etc - thank god because if there were live leaks then the markets would be finished. (Before someone corrects me, I know OTHH was spot on, but the market didnt believe him so that doesnt count ) |
By:
Asparagus Man: presuming no more votes were cast for Cher after she went out, then for every 1000 votes cast when the first freeze came in, there were 2375 at the second freeze and 3883 at the final closing.
So by my flimsy maths, 25.7% of final votes weer cast up to the first freeze, a further 35.5% overnight and up to tonight's freeze, and then an astonishing 38.8% of votes came in when there were just two acts left. |
By:
Using the OD figures backs that up - 38% of total votes on the final were cast in the last half hour of voting. Worth remembering for next year!
