He is Ramping one direction way way way over the top so that he's got an excuse for when he stitches up cardle and OD and gives rebecca the pimp slot//best duet//ramps her.
To prevent any more allegations of a fix.. this time he can simply say "if its a fix, why didnt my boys win".
Cardle deserves to win and is by far the best singer.. but cowell doesnt like him.
My prediction is
Running order:
Cher
Matt
OneDirection
Rebecca.
Knowing simon he'll put robbie with matt and christina with rebecca, give rebecca an amazing song to close the show and probably make matt sing "come together" again topless.

Hope you are right - and you could well be.
He's signaled in his own words that he wanted Rebecca for this, and he's working with someone who won't take that much of a push to claim it (based on poll evidence). Can't understand why she's been such a big price recently, but its starting to move downwards. |

the same question applies - which artist would best represent the show with the america launch coming up. because we shouldnt be under any illusion about how important x factor is in the usa to cowell, esp taking on american idol and fuller. so which one - and my view is one d would look faintly ridiculous as winners, cher would literally be laughed out of the states, matt is v solid - perhaps no different to the last winner of american idol lee dewyze, and rebecca is perhaps the one that would best represent the brand. esp if a few dancing lessons and maybe a bit of hypnotism can bring ut the odd sway of the hips.
there are a few signs pointing to the fact that rebecca might be the chosen one, in terms of the judges, and that 5.1 could look huge come the beginning of the show on sat, never mind the end... |

Personally nick i think Matt would be the best representative. Rebecca is capable of giving consistent good performances, but matt is capable of giving that one Perfect performance that brings a tear to the eye, hes done so already.
I can only remember a handfull of xfactor contestants who've done it.. Leona Lewis with All by myself in the final, and rhydian with you raise me up. |

Shrewd. Matt sung first on the second load of songs, i'd say if anyones due the final slot its matt. If OD or cher get it, it's extremely unfair, but then again the shows hardly the fairest competition in the world

It won't make any difference to the American show, whoever wins the Brit one - why would it? The only downside I can see to OD winning is that it will prove the likes of Elton John are right.

Matt the only one so far to give three or fout stand out performances. The only act to have all four judges on their feet. Funny how that gets overlooked by all the Rebecca backers!

Yeah the one and only intersting thing about this weekend will be for students of rampology. I was going out but I am poorly.
I will still try to avoid it.I can watch the ramping on replays and read the comments on here.This forum is the University of Hype, Bluffology and Mass Hypnosis. Nothing will be missed. It won't be easy to avoid it though. It will be on the TV and there are Rebbecca fans in the house. |

Doesn't say a lot for British talent if this is true. She is the original one trick pony ... she should get a job on Blackpool beach. It's a pity that she didn't duet with Duffy with the dancers dressed up as Donald Ducks. That would have been so funny and in keeping with the absolute crap that has been churned out week after week this year. I would like to ask Top - in the know- Gun why the duets were so abysmal. Ferguson hardly sang 3 words with Aguilera and Cardle was obviously trying not to embarass himself when Rihanna almost smothered him. Robbie was ok with 1D and Cher and Bill did a reasonable job. But Cardle and Ferguson were total crap. |
