i've never ruled them out at any point nick.  deliberately kept them and rebecca (as well as aiden) on side from the start.  shifted some of my green on them onto matt the other week (they were 3.4 and he was 3.0) to make my matt red into a reasonable green.

they were always going to have a decent fanbase, and be given every chance of making the final.  i'm not convinced they're vocally good enough to win on final night, but 16/1 about that quadcast looks overpriced (make it around 14/1 myself).

to be honest, i think they're very much 2nd place material.  with matt and rebecca filling 1st and 3rd around them.

ok gtl, interesting, as most other respected judges on here give them no chance, and i am extremely worried about them, having started off big green and now allowed myself to go big red. not because of those judges, but because i havent seen the requisite improvement for cowell to see them as flagship winners going into the american launch. i still think that, but i'm very worried....

i see them coming 2nd but beaten by either matt or rebecca who would clinch it on the vocals, but it wouldn't be a total surprise to see them win.  i'd say their current price is a touch skinny though.

the choice of winner's song will be telling, as will the duets.  if they duet with take that, it'll bring be huge for them - winning votes from female voters of all ages.

i'll be keeping my eye out for a daily star voting leak this week as well.  would be nice to see one, but unlikely this week!

ps i wouldn't be including myself as one of the "respected judges" here nick!

i like to follow it closely and usually have a (strong!) view about acts that can't win, but in terms of finding the winner at this stage i'd say there are far more shrewd punters on here than me!!

not worried about Take That

1) Robbie last year
2) Been on the show already this series..so doesn't have the wow factor like George Michael.
3) Has every chance of being a shambles.

just shows the difference these duets can make, if rebecca got prince she could be the favorite

i'd be surprised if prince was duetting with any of these.  surely more likely to be the sunday night star attraction like mccartney last year?

however, if he was one of the celebrity duets, then potentially game over!!
