When it was winner takes all (and even then they didn't necessarily!)
Now we have these muppets feeding us the line that essentially each of the semi finalists will become a star in their respective fields...
A male singer who is reasonably talented.
A manufactured group who could be any 5 teenyboppers...
A good female singer but with no star quality
A chav performer with no talent
An Irish Subo without the voice
Talk about covering each of the bases musically....and filling it with dross...
Wagner is right - He probably is the biggest star of the lot...

compared to where they all came from, and what with the tour, they will all have come a long way from where they started and will enjoy a slice of success and living the dream
