fantastic price.
he's still well ahead on all the polls and if he turns up feeling better,he is the one who YOU KNOW can decimate his price with a single performance. one direction do not have one memorable standout track. rebecca could..but mat far more likely to. cher's got a nerve even showing her face in the final. |

Yes Matt definately has that 'knock em' dead' moment within him as he's showed about 4 times so far already. |

George Bailey (of The Bailey and Loan Co?)
Yes he has drifted a little. His performances this week didn't help although he obviously wasn't his old self and the ramping of ONE D too maybe. They're the ones who have dropped in price whereas 'The Singing Candle's' not moved in price or on the stage! Have you seen the latest Digi Spy poll George? He's a mile ahead again. http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=1402933 |

i would hardly call it a major drift.. not much change at all in the odds. he's still well odds on with all firms
|
|
By:
Yes to be honest he was about 4/5 and now he's about 10/11 so that's really nothing is it.

DS polls are notoriously innaccurate. There are other more reliable polls that have matt ahead and i shall be watching them with interest this week. He's about 14% clear at the moment but that's not untouchable.
Sad to see that rebecca is losing some votes from people who can't have Biffa winning again. Yes of the Bailey & Loan Co and you should want rebecca to win as my winnings will go to thwart potter and to build some decent homes for decent hard working people. Though with the ConDem cuts to housing benefits I will have to evict them when they can't pay their rent ![]() |

Doesn't help Rebecca that Cheryl clearly sees Cher as the 2nd coming..
so she's got a half interested mentor on her side who's managed to smuggle through one of the most disliked contestant this year. Rebecca should choose her own songs again and let Cheryl continue to alienate the GBP with cher. |

Matt odds-on backers getting c0cky whilst living in a permanent state of fear of Rebecca.
Running theme in previous winners Joe, Alex, Leon, Leona, Steve (before he got dropped) and Shayne - inoffensive, grateful and quiet throughout the process. Matt's comments on Wagner and Katie, reports of Cher's tantrum with Cheryl and general ungrateful attitude are notoriously signs of a contestants eventual downfall. Rebecca has managed to stay out of the papers, and get unique comments from judges on her 'genuine' 'what you see is what you get' personality. In addition to this we know local votes are a huge factor. Rebecca is from Liverpool (how can we forget) population 450,000 not everyone from pool is going to vote but the mulit-voters will cover them so I would say half a million votes are already in the bag. Her "lack of confidence" has been a running theme from the start, and despite what they've said, they do want someone with a 'story' - when selling the show to viewers in America, it sounds more interesting than Matt, who is incredibly talented but hasnt had as much of a 'journey' Then we have the judges Simon now it must be obvious to everyone to the blind that they/simon/producers want Rebecca to win. "you're exactly what we're looking for" can't get any clearer than that, Louis said she is his fave ever contestant. In today's market solo females dominate the charts. Leona, Burke vs Joe Shayne Ward etc no contest in record sales. Rebecca would probably be their biggest seller ever. Would do America too with an Adele style album. The likeability factor coupled with the judges ramping and manipulation, not to mention the whole of northern england voting will I believe will see her to victory. |

Matt is so far and away the most talented act it's not even funny. He has never been anything less than good at all of the genres he's attempted, he doesn't have a hardwired default act ( Cher = sh1tty little rap, Rebecca = turn every song into a gospel number, he plays the guitar and has provided the two genuine 'drop your bacon sandwich' moments of the live shows (Nights In White Satin and First Time Ever I saw Your Face)
Unfortunately, it's turning into the 'anyone but Matt' show now, with every other act being ramped (even down to downright lies about Rebecca's 'dancing'), not-so-subtle digs at him not being a trouper due to his illness (not helped by that awful VT piece of him being fed lemsips by his mummy) then getting the graveyard slot whilst Wand Ercection MAGICALLY perform last (wonder how that decsion was made?) It's all probably to try to diminish the fact he's overwhelming favourite. No competition likes having something that's an absolute shoe-in going into the final, so the whole show is trying like crazy to even up the playing field. |

Yes I've thought that for a few weeks now. It seems to be that he does look far and away the winner so to make a game of it they're trying to handicap him a bit. I honestly think he's easily the stand out act with not much to beat at all. I said before I'd rate him about a Group 2 horse whereas the best the others can muster is about a 90 rated handicapper. A long long way clear imo. |

when he sang Nights in white satin a few weeks back , i realised it was game over and went all in
just before he went odds on |

06 Dec 10 03:24 Matt odds-on backers getting c0cky whilst living in a permanent state of fear of Rebecca. Not getting cocky, but £70k is mine, banked. Ferguson has no chance. You sound like a Stacey backer from last year, and I enjoyed stealing your money then, and will do so again here. Rebecca to win, don't make me laugh. |

Wouldn't be that sure! I think Matt will win and I'm confident but not that confidernt. Rebecca does have a chance you know let alone the threat of the boyband. |

He's a 1.1 shot. He'll need to headbutt Danni to lose this from here.

Yes I think he's a teriffic price but I'm in for enough already so I'll leave it at that.

£70k here, biggest win ever, home and hosed too

I'm only a tiny fraction of that but I could also lose almost 2K too so I'll leave it at that. If he doesn't win RMB how much do you lose?

What about if rebecca or One D win how much do you lose then? |
|
By:
Not too much on the market (1/3 of my evictions winnings) but obviously it's a monster swing from Cardle winnings to said entities losses. It would hurt alot. Not a concern though in truth, extremely confident.

RMB ... what odds did you get matt at ?
70K is a nice wedge... well done mate ive been topping up more today ![]() at this stage the value bet is Matt/ rebecca straight forecast at 11-4 with slybet ive been reading every other forum, poll and any bit of analysis i can get my hands on.. and everything points to a matt/becca one-two... with one D coming a distant 3rd. i dont think even Take That and Cowell can do anything for 1D.. coz they are total rubbish.. they remind me of 5 lads who have won a day out on a back of a packet of cornflakes ![]() They just lack any kind of credibility and substance I hope Matt sings 'just the way you are' his version is even better than the original... what a lovely uplifting tune If he nails his signature songs watch his price go to 1.4 and lower !!! |
|
By:
Right at the start pretty much bud. 70/-25 pretty much, could go 45/0 but Cardles price still is monsterous imho.
|
|
By:
It's actually so
that it's ![]() |
|
By:
If Matt sings his signature tune for the 4th time his price will be 33/1 against.
