The lack of standing ovations from the judges says it all.  Two years ago in the Swing themed week there were 5 or 6 in one night.  Only Matt's 'the 1st time' has had all the judges on their feet.

Yes the only time they've all been on their feet.  Should be more commom from here on in though with it being down to 5.

Yeah like the SCD judges giving 9s/10s just for staying on their feet at similar stage.

Yes on Saturday Craig who I think is easily the most accurate scoring wise gave Scott a 6 for a mistake riddled effort and the other three gave 9's I think.

Shame Wagner has gone, it will be very dull from now on

after huge initial early promise it has turned into one of the worst quality shows in history

HOWEVER the liquidity, the betting opps and the forum banter have made it truly memorable

I banned myself form watching this mind fking brain toxic but after a fwe weeks the banter on here and the antics of the competitors forced me to watch it.

Now my book is settled,its terminal.

What has killed it is the appalling song choices. They seem not have been chosen for the benfit of Sony's back catologue and faded stars and not for the publics entertainment. The "Judging" has sunk to insultingly low levels but even that is boringly repetitve.

The day a judge says "Rebbecca you do hit a lot of bum notes don't you and act as if you are hating all this and do not want to win it don't you eh ? eh?". When that day comes I will eat my dilithium ctrstals.

I've enjoyed watching it for Cher's unpredicatability, to me she is genuinely doing something different for one of these shows, although if she's not your cup of tea (with two sugars) I can see how the show in general could be disappointing.

Cowell's manipulations are so much more obvious this year that they've become quite interesting in themselves. It feels as if he's dangerously close at times to being so obvious that everybody (even the baying loons in the hall) see what he's up to.

I think it's been a good year.
Rebecca and Matt are 2 of the best voices I've ever heard on the show.
They're in a different league to Joe and Stacey from last year.

Olly would be the only from last year worthy of a place in the final against these 2.

This is an entirely forgettable year.

Matt and Rebecca are average and boring.

Cher is obnoxious and lower than average.

All the groups were crap, as were the joke candidates ( all Louis' contestants ).

There is nothing outstanding that can compare with Alexandra Burke, JLS or Joe McElderry.

Can't understand why people rate Rebecca ... the best future hope for her would be as an understudy to Duffy doing Donald Duck impersonations.

Both were appalling.

Shane Ward wasn't much better.

Joe was good ...  turned in excellent performances every week ... much better than Matt Warble and Rebecca the boring scouse tart.

Best of all was Alexandra followed by Leona.

Rhydian was very good I agree, although not to my taste.

He had the misfortune of getting beaten by a completely useless and cretinous individual who subsequently sank without trace.

Hopefully in the Clyde estuary.
