I'm big green on Matt but I'm trying to be as fair with you as possible.  I really think Matt will win this and that he's far clear of the others so I'd be reluctant to move any green away from him.  That said anyone could win it so perhaps 3/4 green Matt and 1/4 One D perhaps?  Obviously be aware though that Rebecca, Cher and Mary even are contenders too.

I get the feeling that Matt has started to pull well clear of the field - and I'm in Rebecca's camp! However,she is imo far more of a danger than 1D and for that matter than Stacey was last year, who was royally stitched up by that Michael Buble in the final!

Matt does look home and hosed. Only rebecca can produce a 'moment' to beat him.

I'm not sure that's the case Benjy.

I've backed plenty of loses who I'm sure were value when I backed them. I'm not saying wagner was @ 9.4. He was shocking value, but not as bad value as 1D @ 3.65 imo or 4.4 as they are now.

I do believe his momentum was building and his vote was only going one way, and that was up. It just wasn't rising quick enough to overcome Cowell putting a spanner in the works.

Yes you're right of course we have no proof.  All we know is that Matt's gone through nicely every week but as you point out so have One D and Rebecca.  I do think myself though that whilst we can all see Matt's obvious talent and Rebecca too can no doubt sing a good song and is very likeable, One D do seem a bit basic, just 5 kids each with a microphone, two sing well enough the others making up the numbers type thing. Little dancing and not much about them at all bar the screaming 14 year old girls.  I don't personally fancy them at all but heh what do we know.  You stick to your guns  .......... they may well win it you know.

And I'd say he would be pretty foolish to say anything else.

Obviously wagner wasn't quite as high as the "leaks" would have people believe and was clearly outpolled by cher this week so suppose it is best to be careful about the relative ranking of the acts. It is interesting to speculate on who is where in the pecking order, Rebecca looked relieved this weekend and she must have been a little worried after Cher was in the bottom 2 last week.

I would assume Matt has consistently polled either one or two clearly has the most in the crowd behind him in the live venue. One direction weren't quite as good this week and at least two of the group are being carried by the others. Cowell could easily desert them once he has time to think a la Daniel last year. Think you will have plenty of opportunity to lay a lower price on Matt if you choose to hold on.
