how did you get on with the cancer thing in the end kitten, or was that all a load of bollox? [;)]
Report The Kitten November 28, 2010 1:02 AM GMT
In what way? Do you mean do I still have it, or how much I raised?
Report mythical prince November 28, 2010 1:03 AM GMT
do you still have it
Report The Kitten November 28, 2010 1:04 AM GMT
Yes I still have Leukaemia - but thanks in great part to you guys on here I raised £7.5K for the charity "Leukaemia Care". Thanks a lot. Happy
Report mythical prince November 28, 2010 1:06 AM GMT
sorry to hear that- chances of survival?
Report The Kitten November 28, 2010 1:08 AM GMT
Ultimately nil.

That's not to say that I won't be around to annoy you for ages yet. Laugh

Sorry to hear that Kitten, I must have missed it all first time around. Are donations still open?
Report The Kitten November 28, 2010 8:54 AM GMT
No it finished a year ago mate! Thanks anyway.

You can of course donate direct to Leukaemia Care.

My jaw dropped when I read that, classy reply from the Kitten, glad to see your in good spirits.

Hi bunny.

To be honest I'm not at my best physically at the moment - the cold weather affects me badly. I've had to stay in as I have an infection. I missed going to the biggest game at Loftus Road for 6 years yesterday when my beloved QPR beat Cardiff to go 5 points clear at the top. Gutted is not the word.

As I said somewhere else - thank God for the goggle-box or I'd be sectioned by now. [smiley:crazy]
Report bunnyman November 28, 2010 10:16 AM GMT
5 points clear!? Wish I'd followed your pre season tip.  Grin

Have you laid off your Wagner green yet?  Given the popbitch quote and othh's prediction I'd be quite surprised if he survived the b3 tonight.
Report The Kitten November 28, 2010 10:17 AM GMT
I missed the Wagner boat unfortunately, so I'm just watching with mild amusement.

I've got a huge green on Widders though.

I'd never have guessed TK Plain
Report The Kitten November 28, 2010 10:19 AM GMT
And I think IF Wagner were to go, a lot of people would pile on Widders as a consolation for the subversive vote. If he does survive they sort of support eachother if you see what I mean.

A win/win situation.
Report squares November 28, 2010 10:21 AM GMT
TK, I totally disagree with that as I think the people voting for Ann and the people voting for Wagner are about as far apart as you could ever get.  I doubt most of the people voting for Wagner would ever vote for anyone else in anything.

Kitten mate be careful and lay it off before it's too late. She may soldier on past Gavin but she ain't gonna win.

All the best TK - the most important thing is you Love

but on the punting front- i think you could go seriously close with Widdy.

but don't muddle her up with wagner: completely different ballgame.

punters on here seem to think coming 3rd or 4th means you can catch the one on 50%.

Back to disagreeing with you again aa Silly

Wagner has more chance than Ann imo.

Wagner has momentum whereas Ann is on the decline.

Waggy is more of a comedy price than before yesterday's show.

tptb decided it's his time to go, obviously.

If he does get through this week I'm going to have to clear out my bank to lay him!

It would tickle me if he took up a place of one of the desired final weekend contestants.

the desired final weekend contestants

See I think this idea of the top 3 being desired as the final lineup is a myth.

If Cowell could pick exactly who he wanted in the last 3 I honestly think he'd go for Katie, 1D and Cher
He knows he's almost definitely getting Matt and that there's a good chance he'll get rebecca...that doesn't mean they're the desired lineup
Report Cider November 28, 2010 12:49 PM GMT
Of course there is a desired final lineup.
Doesn't mean they will get it.

Waggy is now surplus to requirements.

tptb don't always get what they desire.

He's only pushing katie cos he's getting squeezed by Sony.  He may have seen her as his british gaga/madonna but the penny will ahve dropped for him by now. Rebecca is only one who could crack USA where the real money is.

Even if Mat wins he will have less shelf life and worse than Olly. Another Joe(remember him?). Playing to small venues already from what I can see.
