if this did happen, and surely it is extremely unlikely that they can change the vote halfway through to get rid of wagner, then it would favour rebecca and mary. but it wont

Don't deserve you talking to me like that. Just say and I'll gladly ignore you too no problem. Don't ever think you're any better than me Nick cause you're not ....FACT. I'll post what I like, my opinion is at least as good as anyone's on this whole forum FACT. I'm always civil and try to be as unbiased as possible. Hope that's ok with you.

aaaaarrrrggghhh lou, it's as though you simply dont listen. when have i ever said i am better. i haven't. that's your remarkable paranoia taking over again.
I'm not talking to you badly - au contraire i am actually trying to support you whereas you have shot your bolt with most on here. i am trying to tell you in the nicest possible way that the reasons why you are alienating people. yes, your opinion is as good as anyone's on here, of course it is, but that doesn't mean you have to ram it down our throats every 2 minutes.
i know you are civil and i admire that, but the reason you are finding such er, opposition to your views is that you are, if i may say, ever so slightly paranoid and a teensy bit repetitive. it's black and white. BUT if you dont want to listen, to assume i am one of the cavalry, to misguidedly assume i am trying to say i am better than you, then go ahead. just block me, it's no skin off my nose. i wont try again lou. too time consuming and utterly futile.
all the best

one thing of interest, what do you do on bf when you are not focusing on specials. question applies to five leaves left too, and squares and mikey and gb x2 and helmuthian. never see you guys around yet the level of analysis is so good, especially considering we are focusing on tv.
do any of you play other sports on bf, or are you specials specialists.
dunno gtl, no idea. one thing of interest, what do you do on bf when you are not focusing on specials. question applies to five leaves left too, and squares and mikey and gb x2 and helmuthian. never see you guys around yet the level of analysis is s
nick - i'm by no means a big or particularly shrewd punter, but i'll have a bit of a dabble on the football, around goal expectancy quite often, but nothing too big. horses too, although i stick to the bigger races/meetings, unless i get some reasonable info.
quite like to do a bit of analysis on the golf 3 balls too, with some good results, some bad. running at 9.4% profit on the 3 balls over the last 8 months, but that drops to 3.6% when you include 2 balls. so lesson for next season: stick to the 3 balls!!
i don't normally get involved on the forum though, apart from x factor, and sometimes football (winding up liverpool fans is hard to resist!).
in terms of specials, just XF and SPOTY for me right now. although my punt on amy williams is a punt rather than trading. still cannot for the life of me understand the price!!
you're generally a tennis punter mostly you were saying?

9.4 per cent is amazing, yeah that tells you something mate. half the battle is working out what works...
i like to think i know something about the gee gees, but my P&L says otherwise, sp, virtually all of the time now i resist and desist. i really fancy weird al for the hennessy (and the gc as well as it goes) and might have to have a small dabble.
but yeah i am full time tennis trading, have been for most of this year and since i stopped everything else it's been really profitable. i still do specials because it is the only other thing that the figures say i do well, and because i believe, having worked in tv for a little while, that i have a decent handle on how the program makers want the show to go, one of the big keys imo.
having said that i lost a lot of money on jensen button last year with the big giggs debacle. didnt see it coming until too late. think mccoy is absolutely nailed on, and i have decent money on stacey solomon at 11/4, which i thought was one of the bets of the year (i missed the 9/2) - i did flag it up on x factor forum i think. already laid off stake at 1.9.
i have thought, when you take the cretins like lay prof out of the equation, that the general standard of a) analysis and b) banter on the x factor forum has been really reassuringly high. people like hf, fll, gb x2, your good self, squares, mikey etc - it's a shame if you all only really appear on here for 8 weeks a year...

Full time Specials here, with the very occasional dabble at the big sporting events, Open Golf, Wimbledon final, Olympics, Cheltenham, etc...and a more than occasional dabble on the poker.

i had one series of big bro on here (the year sophie won) which went really well as it worked out. will get into BGT too but that's quite a short series. generally x factor and a dabble on SPOTY are the only specials markets i get that into.
although having seen the dancing on ice line up, i might have to make an investment in jonathan wilkes!!

More than 8 weeks a year, DOI, BGT, Eurovision, BB, CBB, Strictly, IAC, XF, American Idol, SYTYCD, The various Lloyd webber ones....
..and I'm sure I've missed a few too.

I remember Survivor. That Zoe was on Comedy Roadshow a few weeks back.
Spent nearly 20 years in racing. Moved slowly away from that with the intro. of BF. Always been involved in specials/TV betting. Can remember betting on Stars in Their Eyes finals using teletext for prices - Marti Pellow x 2, Sandi Shaw, Maria Callas, etc.! Obv from my number of posts, not on here for 8 weeks a year. Spent a lot of years mainly on chit chat (doing quizzes and comps). Bet on specials throughout but thought there were too many loonies on here (remember Janice/Biggins IAC series). Eventually succumbed. Now I think there are too many loonies on chit chat.
Used to get involved with everything - loads of racing, football, rugby league and union, tennis, golf, darts, snooker, you name it - but so much gets too much.
Now mainly specials, racing, poker, dip in and out of just about everything else but mainly the major events now.
Nothing stays the same though. Had a couple of major years with the racing 05/06 I think. Found it harder since then - losing accounts, etc. and things change. Slightly underrated trainers where you can get decent odds their runners (11/2 - 11/1, etc.) have a good season and suddenly everything is overbet and underpriced (more like 7/4, 11/4) as one example. Place markets have had a major effect too.
Specials is probably the easiest to make money and the easiest not to lose. However, it's getting harder with losing accounts, with the markets becoming more "correct/perfect". Odds compilers becoming more clued up, fewer mugs, etc. The decent (value) prices that used to be available to reasonable money aren't so readily available.
Grrrrrrrr - IAC, the afternoon the prices came out I had to go to the airport, doing people favours - ffs. Would have been cheaper to have given them the money for the taxi.

what's interesting imo squares is that most betfair markets tend to be about right, whereas specials markets have a bit more mileage in them. maybe its because they are relatively nascent, i dunno. i do wish though that i had had the courage of my convictions and gone in much more heavily, both on outright and elim markets, and i get the feeling there are a lot of people out there thinking the same thing. the liquidity this year has been incredible; there are a lot of people thinking they can make lots of money from this kind of program, going to make for an interesting time...
