Cher's the most interesting one for me because she has the ability, amongst the best, but it rarely sees the light of day.
A few days ago Cher said Saturday would be a "big surprise, something you've never seen before".
I thought maybe the Ozmosis version which is rap but doesn't mashup http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xHb-BVqI8Lk rather than the awful Pitbull mashup http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v-p96ln5l-8 There's never been a mention of mashup this week. After all doing a Lennon cover is hardly a "big surprise, something you've never seen before".
However today she said she's "looking forward to singing a whole song and showing my vocal ability". And Cheryl said "the girls are a force to be reckoned with, we're not messing around with the Beatles".
So, as rapping definitely is "messing around with the Beatles" it looks like we may get the pure John Lennon version after all. (Incidentally Imagine was not a Beatles song, but Cheryl wouldn't know that).

I've thought athat all along. I think she's the best singer of all the girls ................ if she'd only stick to the singing as I think she will tonight. Think she'll get good reviews from the judges tonight and a dip in price is expected.

i am hoping for a big performance from cher tonight. I sh can produce when it matter then she should be sub 10's. It does matter tonight she has the most Icinic song of the evening and a great preformance will be generally well recived and she could win new fans.
The other iconic songs of the evening are let it be and yesterday. I am hoping Paige siezes his chance. If there is anything beneath his stage school persona nows the time to show it. E.g has he got some soul or is he an over self inflated blimp who needs to get back to his job in a cinema and stop knocking the everday lives the rest of us have to lead.( As a Melvian, posting by pure thought from my kinky machine I am using poetic licence here of course)

Don't think she'll win it because a lot of her song choices, Matt too good for her and her attitude but she might make the final 3.
Mary will go for the blockbusting Shirley Bassey showstopper tonight. Again!!!!!!!!!. My toes are curling up in embarrasment. As far as Mary is concerned I have blockbuster fatigue. No wonder she has trouble with her nerves.

Thought she was hit and miss last week. the singing a hit the rap middle part a miss. Stick with the singing and she'll go far.
