but ultimately the Cowell machine will ensure the two acts who are most newsworthy stay in,  Paije got no chance in sing-off against Katie as Louis already set his stall out reg. Paije in comments on sat.  Wagner not certain to be below other singers in voting pecking order anyway

Scenario- Paije/Katie b2
Paije to knock one out of the park singing something he is acually good at, Katie who has flopped on her last two sing-offs, flops again.

I backed Paige b4 last night and now closed out and transfered it all to the Weasel

I'm in a similar position CJ, but backed the Weasel at 2.1 before covering on Paije at 8 in running last night.

Louis has the crucial vote in the event that these two go to the sing off.  My guess is that he'll abandon Katie and vote to save Paije, in which case it goes to deadlock - and Katie's history.  Hopefully!

Katie flopped last week in the sing off and it made no difference. Let's not kid ourselves, last weeks decision ensured the show was on the front pages all week, and booting off paije and saving waggy or Katie would do the biz for another week(not to mention the tour).

There's a fine line between controversy and people stopping watching. They're on that line with Katie.

And I will mention the tour as everybody does arguing about elims. They can have who they want in the tour including people who didn't make the finals, as they've done before.

...I should add that Wagner will be binned before her if he's B2, and he probably is.

Agree on both counts Henry...  They surely can't risk the credibility of the show any more by saving Katie a fourth time?!

Unless of course it's against Wagner.  If he's in the bottom two, he's history.  If it's anyone else against Katie, she has to be a goner...

Its a real conundrum, I'd make wagner a 1/3 to go if he's in the bottom 2 against either Katie or Paije, however his price is based on the support which has taken him through so far. Katie has been consistently near the bottom but I can see her in a favourable match up with Wagner come the sing-off, Paije and Katie and I can see deadlock and Katie being eliminated.

It is possible it could go to deadlock whatever, Simon is well known for his liking to send it to a public vote if he has the deciding vote of the 4.

The Paige / Wagner bottom 2 might be best result for Paije backers as deadlock and Paije could has got to be favourite to go
