Result was right one. TreyC was her usual boring more than slightly out of tune self. Katie played the live meltdown card and it worked. She was actually the better singer of the two there anyway. Cowell right who would rather see TreyC (yawn) again or have a possible Judy Garland moment in front of your eyes?
Some people lost and I was too slow to win even more on treyC at 6s. Don't let your betting influence your judgement. |

What's most ridiculous is that not one judge actually commented on their bottom 2 performance! Each judge had basically already decided who to vote out so it was pointless.

following on from last week's **** miss world, this reality betting lark is getting too dangerous. I'm off. I agree apart from the last 2 words, for which I would substitute, "More please." People backing Katie to go at 1.2 - have people got the memory of nematodes? That's a totally ridiculous price in most "sing-offs" - not that singing has anything to do with it. It's all about money and manipulation and seeing where best the money lies. Clear as day in this case, Treyc was much more expendable than Katie, the panto villain. |

Bit wordy Lou but posted this in the "who goes out tonight thread" earlier today. My stats have been very accurate and really should have started own poll thread to complement FLL's twitter, Jack's Facebook and Wit Hams you tube hits. Between us I think we have nailed it every week just about.
While we wait for the brains to respond I wil put in my tuppence worth. I go by the polls which have been remarkably accurate so far. This week is almost too close to call between three and while I might update nearer the off it currently looks like: Paije is safe, Mary less so but should just have enough to avoid the bottom two. Of the other three TreyC is polling lower than she was when she finished in the bottom 2 so can't see why she shouldn't again. Will Katie get a dead cat bounce? Polls say she too is in big trouble so I'll say bounce won't save her even if there is one. Wagner is the enigma. He's on the brink I think but may just have enough to stay in. So going for the obvious with katie and treyc with (toss up) treyc going on the basis that there is nothing in it between them poll wise so value lies with treyc. Green on all of them bar paije and I'd be happy to be wrong and have mary in bottom two though probably not this week. |

I WILL NEVER WATCH THIS PROGRAMME AGAIN! poor cheryl didn't get a chance to take it to deadlock. i have posted my letter to my MP and am thinking about starting a petition to david cameron. something has to be done or the x factor may lose some of its integrity and credibility. |

george bailey - we both got it spot on last night, out of interest, on which polls do you base your elimination strategy.
its going to be interesting after katie is out as we have had no evidence is to who is officially polling lower - wagner, mary, paige, aiden - we just dont know. it might get a little more difficult after next week |

Really wished I had I started "poll thread" to complement t'other three instead of spreading my pearls of widsom amongst various threads. You are spot on when you say the true test of all our stats starts here. With the dross it is pretty easy to say who will stay (half the battle of course) but now we need to factor in: Wagner and effect of RTM/VFTW; Celtic and old vote for Mary; Split mum/young vote; vote transference etc Sod's law I will start a thread and get it all wrong but hey ho its just figures and not even opinion. How did you arrive at the result this week? |
