wagner 50/1 to lay ????? surely he has no chance , big odds to lay yes , but this should really be a 100000/1 chance . great value lay , with no risk of losing .

I agree with Sam, even if the nonsense takes Wagner's price lower again, he has no chance of winning.
Report Henry VIII October 30, 2010 4:55 PM BST
... but as he may not go lower anyway - a good lay (42 now).
Report SamuelMorse October 30, 2010 4:58 PM BST
correct mate , there's no way he'll win , it just won't happen .

Personally I'd raher lay Belle Amie @ 200
Report five leaves left October 30, 2010 5:03 PM BST
lay my £30@ 48 and you can then buy yourself a few drinks on your xmas break.
Report GeorgeBrush October 30, 2010 5:04 PM BST
In the sense that Belly are less likely to trade lower I guess you're right fig.

But Waggy makes 4x the money
Report SamuelMorse October 30, 2010 5:09 PM BST
wagner still has no chance of winning , so i'd rather lay 50 than 200 , but if he was 200 i'd lay that too .
Report five leaves left October 30, 2010 5:10 PM BST
ok fair enough.

It looks a silly bet to me though.
There are much better 50/1 shots to lay for 'free money' in other markets.

Wagner's song suggests a big production and a late slot, so if he puts on a decent performance I can only see the wagner wagon gathering more pace.
Report SamuelMorse October 30, 2010 5:53 PM BST
but he still won't win , i don't care if it goes lower .
Report Angela Rebecchi October 30, 2010 6:14 PM BST
1.02 tips, where can I sign up.

Wagner is an obvious entity. His price will depend on when they want rid of him and if there is any bullshining leaks about him. Press seems to be pretty aggressively against him from what I've seen on here but I could be wrong.

He could never win this show though, it's just not possible, so you are right. Would I be a layer at 50s, no. Who wants to build a massive long liability on a 1.02 shot?
Report SamuelMorse October 30, 2010 6:26 PM BST

Report SamuelMorse October 30, 2010 7:29 PM BST
added a few quid myself mate , got a big bank but loan is just easy for the 30 k rather than lay 35 k myself and then only have around 40 k for other bets until christmas , but i'll win much more with that but still need the big bank for trading . yes i am aware of that but let's be honest , doesn't stand a chance . this is just free money no chance of winning not in a million years , u must know that even if u don;t like laying 50/1 shots . but it should be 1,000,000/1 .

Oh right, I see. You're such a pro that you have to get a bank loan for £30,000

That really surprises me. You seem to really know your stuff. You also seem to be a bit of a shrewdie when it comes to risk management. I think that a £30,000 stake to win £600 less commission is not bad value at all. Actually 50 on here is 49/1. Let's assume you are paying 5% on winnings (which you probably are as you are a complete and utter bellend) then that's £612.24 you can lay at 50.0 so that's an easy £581.63 in your bin for a paltry loan of £30,000

Top bombing mate.

hope u realise that the x factor outright winner market is not settled until the final show and winner is announced...so therefore if you lay an act that gets eliminated you wont get the money until AFTER the final show ...Bfair do this in case an act is reinstated...if you look at the X factor outright market , you will see that previous acts that have already been eliminated are still there in the market!!!

theres been talk for weeks about a large group of people voting for wagner and trying to get him to win in general protest at the x factor, similar to the people who made sure joe mcelderry didnt get to no. 1 last year at xmas.

you look in the papers on a saturday and the main focus is on wagner. why do u think the price has gone from 500 to 300 to 200 to 150 to 100 to 60 and so on? it aint co people have suddenly realised, wow hes amazing.

it simply shrewd people backing him at that price knowing that he will be trading shorter every week he gets through as this large group of people grows and they all vote for me.  many of them probably backing him aswell so they can make a tidy green on their phoen votes.

Hope this helps

I don't count Lou as human. He's just an annoying attention seeking idiot who spouts a load of cobblers.

10-1 Wagner, deary deary me. It's all a waste of everyone's time anyways. The clown OP would not get an unsecured loan or secured loan with no set up fee, let alone lay a dopy bet at 50.0 to make £581.63 if he's paying 5% commission. Great way of risking £30,000...... not.

It's probably just some spotty kid being a bellend. There's a lot of gullible idiots out there amongst the general public and the same goes on these forums. I can't believe how stupid some people are.
