Both lists are complete ballucks imo both posters have a history of completely duff info.

I'm only going by what Digital Pies are saying.  They have been known to be less than accurate on there before I think.

if there was any truth in the top list treyc is a gonner, terrible MJ song and it would be an outstanding week for katie who will get the chance to butcher a great song!

These songs aren't confirmed of course as I'm now hearing Wagner could be doing "Out of Time" by Chris Farlowe and Rebecca perhaps doing "I Don't Wanna Dance" by Eddy Grant so who knows for sure?

Lou I think these are attempt at being humourous.

They will all be doing cover versions of songs from the 80's metal band Helloween !
By:
grendel
When: 27 Oct 10 16:28
Or maybe Wagner could do' Bring Your Daughter To The Slaughter', a number one single for Iron Maiden, would be great imo

By:
lanza
When: 27 Oct 10 23:16
is that your million waiting at 1.01 george?   was 7million there last week at 1.01  [smiley:crazy]
By:
George Bailey
When: 27 Oct 10 23:19
That would be £7k lanza which is WAY out of my league
By:
Henry VIII
When: 27 Oct 10 23:23
That would have been £70K George. £10K now. Not hard to have built up that green on Wagner at the prices he was at, it's probably jack, now hoping someone will mix up odds and stakes - it can happen.
By:
George Bailey
When: 27 Oct 10 23:27
Oops a nought out and even more out of my league. I knew all along that 320 would mean an opportunity for a lay but not worth it with my bank.

is there an easy formula to work out what price a bet needs to drop to guarantee a profit? Confused
By:
Henry VIII
When: 27 Oct 10 23:53
Back Price - (Back Price x fee / 100) = Price that Lays must be under

where "fee" = % you pay BF, eg 5
By:
George Bailey
When: 27 Oct 10 23:56
Thanks Henry but can you put some example odds in? Say 320 I have on wagner?
By:
Henry VIII
When: 28 Oct 10 00:00
320 - (320 x 5 / 100)

= 320 - 16

= 304

which means you must lay it at 300 or less.

As you can stick it on 34 and be making the best offer you're laughing.
By:
George Bailey
When: 28 Oct 10 00:02
But then you need to know what profit you amke at each point...pennies in my case!
By:
George Bailey
When: 28 Oct 10 00:03
Forgot to say thanks that's very helpful...any profit is good.

Henry

I wish I could do calculations like that.  I'm very quick with figures but all that formula stuff baffles me to be honest.  Good stuff.
By:

When: 28 Oct 10 00:05
No problem. I've laid my Wagner. I think it's better to take a great profit than be greedy and lose.

He won't go this week Henry. Though if I check my records over the past few years that's the exact comment that precedes the old heave ho.

Cher: Stay (Shakespears sister)
Katie: Bewitched
Mary: Could it be magic

not a great choice for Cher imo...it should be interesting to see what she does to make this 18 year old tune more 'relevant'
