but will they void the 6th elimination market, or bets taken so far?

or will they void 5th because it is different now to how punters thought?

What will be voided what will stand

Not sure. Almost certainly will void B3 market, and keep the 5th Elim market.

Betfair have obviously done a 5th and 6th elimination market to suit whatever x-factor decided to do.  The 6th elimination will obviously carry on to next week.

This makes Wagner more likely as 5th elimination as Belle Amie may well be bottom in the votes, but if wagner is with them they will surely send home Wagner and give the girls another week.

No way they'll void 5th market mate, they kept the 1st market and that was against the grain. 100% sure that 5th market will remain and paid out.

very messy. People have a case to get them all voided Cry

What an absoloute joke.

Wagne won't be bottom 2 bobysboy, probs a 5/1 shot at the least imho.
By:

the whole thing has to be voided out surely. the potential 5th elimination (i.e. one with the lowest votes) could well be saved by the judges now.  hate this show even more now.

By:

When: 23 Oct 10 22:07
yeah maybe, you think they will hold the 6th market over until next week, even though people will have traded on non runners
By:

6th Elimination should be void as it came under the heading 'Week 3' [;)]

FLL - made a big point of it now being a single elimination.

Might have flashed up on screen in big caps too.

FLL he made a point of it: only one act goes home tomorrow.

Bottom 3 will definitely be voided, and I suspect 6th Elimination will be.

5th Elimination will stand.

Annoying for punters.
By:
Theodore Bagwell
When: 23 Oct 10 22:09
bottom 3 is a given.  that will have to go.

6th also given it fell under the week 3 heading.

5th should go too imo but i can't see them doing it.  too messy.

The rules say

Bottom 3

If there is no elimination during a scheduled elimination show, the market will be reopened at the end of the show with unmatched bets cancelled and the time delay removed. If for any reason a scheduled elimination show is cancelled or postponed, then this market will remain open and all bets will be settled once the relevant elimination has been confirmed. Betfair will not void or settle bets on individual runners unless this market as a whole is voided or settled.

Bottom 3
At the start of the scheduled live elimination show this market will be turned in-play with unmatched bets cancelled. The market will be suspended when voting lines close. Customers are entirely responsible for their positions at all times. If there is an announcement of any change to the established elimination procedure or any ambiguity as to who has the lowest public vote then Betfair reserves the right to void this market at its absolute discretion. Subsequent events would NOT affect the result of this market.

If for any reason a scheduled elimination show is cancelled or postponed, then this market will remain open and all bets will be settled once the actswith the lowest public vote have been confirmed. Betfair will not void or settle bets on individual runners unless this market as a whole is voided or settled.

5th elimination

Which will be the fifth act to be eliminated from The X Factor 2010?

At the start of each relevant scheduled live show this market will be turned in-play with unmatched bets cancelled. The market will be suspended when voting lines close.

If a 'final showdown' is declared in respect of this elimination, the market will be re-opened with unmatched bets cancelled once the acts participating in the ‘final showdown’ have been declared. The market will then be suspended when the elimination is announced.

So it sounds like Bottom 3 voided, 6th elimination carried over and 5th elimination to continue.

Makes a mess of it though.

Extremely painful, was balancing out losses in the outrights with winnings in the bottom 3 market. That's life.
By:

yes teddy true, they prob wont void 5th, the others are toast
By:
