I think Belle Aime will be in trouble this week.

The theme for this week is 'Heroes'
Pretty ambiguous admittedly and not much more info apart from chat of going for high notes. All can be found towards the end of this (which is quite amusing anyway) http://xfactor.itv.com/2010/the-f-factor/watch_the-f-factor-week-1_item_400053.htm |

Waissel is far too short, after the beatles performance, the judges will surely put her through against Wagner, Diva Fever, Belle Amie etc. Very good lay imo.
|

She was b3, likely b2, despite a host of headlines and attention, second only to Cher in media fuss
I can't see her adding many voters. She's deeply unlikable. The price is fair for me |

Also the judges have no say in who goes 1st in a double eviction!

Yep. Glen, you're on the wrong thread marra

As I said on another thread, Danni when being interviewd with Nicolo on the Xtra Factor where all the acts sit together afterwards said "It could be any two from this lot sat here next week"
It's most certainly a double eviction. |

Apparently on the preview/trailer for Saturday's show they confirm it's another double.
Bounce factor is the main reason to expect Katie to avoid B3, think it could be enough though with a few people saying she is being treated in fairly this week as well. I took the comment about the king to mean she was singing Elvis though not The Beatles? |

Do we get running order before Saturday night?

Bounce factor from week 1 is distinctly non-existant though Benjy
2009: Rachel Adedeji - Bottom two first two weeks 2008: Girlband - Bottom two first two weeks 2007: Alisha - Bottom two first two weeks Worth noting that after Rachel finish in the bottom two first 2 weeks and the public was majorly against her, she went on top top the vote in week 3 (and then back down to last place in week 4) Could be a similar pattern with Katie if she's bottom 3 and saved by the judges again. Would expect her to get a massive vote in week 3, and then crash out in week 4. Could throw up a few good betting opportunities if this is the case. |
|
By:
FWIW I think the bounce factor largely consists of the fanbase being motivated to vote after the scare of seeing their contestent in the bottom two. If you're bottom two in the first week, it's because you don't have a fanbase, therefore will not get much of a bounce.
The other "bounce" is a sympathy vote, and as of yet Katie doesn't really have this either. |

Hissy fits all round:
Diva Fever have reportedly had a falling out over who sings which lines in their upcoming X Factor performance on Saturday. According to Metro, Craig Saggers and Joe Al-Smadi argued over the lead in yesterday's rehearsal for Musical Heroes week. A source told the newspaper: "Diva Fever have been arguing throughout the day on which lines each of them gets to sing of this week's song. It's not ideal with just 48 hours to go." |

Some great press for Katie on DS Headlines.
- being branded a sex tease by a music promoter in The Star; - Danyl speaking up in support of her; - Jordan and Alex are fans. ![]() |

Week 1 to 4
Double eliminations. The act with the lowest number of votes will be eliminated straight away. The following two acts with the lowest number of votes will then take place in a sing-off and face the judges votes. Week 5 to 7 The two acts with the lowest amount of phone in votes will take place in a sing-off and face the judges votes. Week 8 to 10 No judges votes. The act with the lowest number of votes will be eliminated from the competition. The Final The act with the most votes will be declared the winner. |

First time poster, but been following the X Factor threads for a few years now (a big fan of Figgy and George!).
Good posts from Jack and Squares - I'm not sure whether the bounce will apply to Katie this year or not. At least she polarises opinion and is memorable. Likewise Wagner, unfortunately. But both could be vulnerable in a double elimination. For the first out this week though I'd go for someone who is dull and anonymous - like Paije or John - or for the group jinx to continue for Belle Amie and Diva Feva. Of course it'll all come down to the running order, but my guess is that they'll try to keep the front two in the elimination betting in as they're still good for column inches... |

Like a fine wine, you're an acquired taste Lou, but the forum would be a poorer place without you!

Squares - hope to become a regular poster this year... Only just got round to the KYC nonsense after several seasons of being an avid follower of the forum. Great source of info on songs, running order etc - and for good natured banter of course!
