I assume the bookies have already paid the insiders who vilely trade on BF thousands so they know who the 12 are?

A week or two ago B.Sq had the best prices for most of those. Only allowed a pittance though, a bit more at 888 who also had a couple of good prices.

Hi all,

Can I just say (& it will come to no surprise to some [smiley:crazy] ) that I know nothing more than is written on here. I cannot speak for compilers at other firms but my guess is that most of the names in this thread (Helmuthian excluded) know far more than most firms currently betting on X Factor.

I expect the short prices on the rumoured 12 are heavily down to 'reaction' (to bets) rather than prior info.

Some of the prices traded (with us) at this stage are amazing. We have layed Cher Lloyd to the hills (and mainly at 3/1 / 10/3 ). The point I make is this would never have happened had there been a BF Outright Market!!!!

To cover my back completely, the toat stopped betting on the outright winner at the point I believed (with updates on here from Topper Robson) they reached the judges House Stage.

Anyway we are back up (PLUG!) !!!!

It also goes without saying that if you backed anybody that ended up in a group (one major posting forumite in particular) you still have the group as a runner.

In short, good luck all & roll on December when AlanJZ can top up our Christmas Fund!!!!

. . . .& thanks JFP Love

But thats exacly what we are all wondering about. I say all; meaning those of us desperatley clinging to straws of hope that Gamu is not out.

And thats not only  because some of us are on @ 10+. I am sure that its not just me and there are some other music fans here who feel we have something special in Gamus voice and we want to hear Gamu sing another dozen or so songs.

She will sing her but off everytime.

i think all bookies ( ours included) are pretty certain of 10 of the final 12, there are some doubts about Gamu who im hoping isnt in as we have her for a decent amount.  There might be a bit of confusion about the Over 28s as well, ive heard some rumours that Elesha Moses gets through but im not sure who'd miss out.  All will be revealed Sunday evening though
Report Henry VIII September 29, 2010 11:20 AM BST
The only rumour I've heard about Elesha is that she got through as a replacement at Louis' house, which Louis has since confirmed.

She replaced a sweet girl who alas had mental problems, problems that anybody who saw her audition would have immediately been aware of.

I don't know about those two either, probably a DS thread somewhere naming everybody.

I took the Keri photo as just an error as they name her Rebecca F and they say Cher "strolled around with other X Factor contestants, including Katie Waissel" but Keri is the only one of the 3 who looks alone. Nothing special about Keri, very plain, but very good reasons for the tipped 3 to be correct.

The bottom two photos of Gamu and another "were also in the city" but it looks like they've been binned, I don't think the final 12 would be left on their own hauling their luggage.

ITV has announced plans to air the longest ever edition of The X Factor on October 9.

The live show, which will see the 12 finalists perform for a place in the next round, will run for two and a half hours.

An ITV spokesman confirmed to The Mirror that the episode will be the longest in the history of the series.

The length of the programme is said to be due to a "surprise" for viewers.

I have written Gamu......... off but but but but but here comes a pathetic wish

I would expect Cowell to milk Gamus visa problems for all they are worth. So we get the shock on Sunday when we find out that Gamu is not in the top 3. Then we get get the "surprise" on October the 9th when Super Simon with his heart of gold sorts it out and she is back in the show. Simon's ego gold plated again. Loads of publicity for the show; world wide. Best back story ever for the the best singer ever on the show. Thats my fantasy.

But it'll probably be Cheryl in tears saying she wants Gamu to stay but they other 3 where better singers on the day. Hugs and kisses by by Gamu.

Cowell: 'I'm sick of X Factor sob stories'

Simon Cowell has revealed that he is fed up with contestant sob stories on The X Factor.

The judge admitted that previous series of the ITV singing contest included too many competitors who chose to focus on their outside problems and hardships.

Cowell also said that he was tired of "goody two shoes" contestants, and indicated that he did not care if this year's batch of hopefuls caused trouble.

He told The Sun: "We got too much of this 'I'm doing it for my mum who broke her ankle' nonsense.

"I am just trying to encourage them this year to be their age and do what they like to do if they have a career as a popstar.

"If people are badly behaved sometimes, so what? I'm fine with that. At least they are having fun."

However, an insider conceded that the final twelve acts would not be allowed to sleep with each other when they move into their shared home for the live shows.

The source said: "They will be told they must not have sex in the house."
Report squares October 1, 2010 3:29 PM BST
ffs, he couldn't lie straight in bed if he tried.  Sick of sob stories - encourages them and thrives on them more like.  Was it Shayne Ward who said on the application form there's a question about what sad things have happened to you in your life?

Even Matt Cardle was reported by Konnie Huq to have asked why they keep labelling him as a painter and decorator.

"If people are badly behaved sometimes, so what? I'm fine with that. At least they are having fun."

SCowell's verdict on the Groups from The Sun

THE REASON

I LIKE these four builders a lot and I haven't seen a band like this for a while. They are really genuine guys.

TWEM

THESE twins from Paris have been called France's answer to Jedward. They are funny and easy to like.

PRINCES & ROGUES

I HAVE seen them do great performances and terrible performances. What they try and do is quite difficult, but I like them as people.

FYD

THEIR name stands for Follow Your Destiny. I would say this lot could go either way - they may be a dark horse.

DIVA FEVER

I DON'T want to be cruel, of course - but if this pair get through to the live shows, they are the luckiest people in the world.

BELLE AMIE

ONE of the groups I put together from solo acts. Difficult to judge them at the moment, but some are good singers.

1 DIRECTION

ANOTHER band we created. I have got a good feeling about the way they look and the way they have worked hard to make this happen.

HUSSTLE

THESE girls from Bradford are determined and very focused. I also have to say that these five are quite talented.

Yeah and if after asking for them on the aplication form broadcasting them amd constantly replaying them some contestants will not play the game he ups the anti.

How about about his remarks to Jedward that they where despicable people who would sell their grannies. As a reult they had thouands of death threats.

Funnily enough it turns out that they where very nice lads who had nerves of steel in facing the waves of booes they got. They where not only courageous but kept a ready wit and a sense of humour throughout. The bottom line is that Cowell has no qualms what so ever about insulting, condemning and besmirching the characters of people he has never met.
