My vote would go to Susanne Manning for this performance, back in the day of the show's original incarnation, Pop Idol. Interesting to compare the simple, stripped down set back then with the dazzling, retina-burning stage lighting and accompanying razzamatazz of the Sh*te Factor of today:
That Susanne Manning performance was actually in the wildcard round. I backed her at 5/1 to win it after hearing her rehearsal on ITV2 (she stood out a mile) and she wasn't that difficult to back. Looking back it was so easy to make money back then and the chance to make money that easily will never come around again.

very true Clydebank. They created the wildcard round after her and (Sam?) didn't get through in their ultra-competitive heats, if I recall correctly. Being privy to her rehearsal was the reality tv equivalent of being invited over to John Oxx's gallop to watch Sea The Stars work pre-Guineas. That 5-1 Susanne was like finding money in the street - her performance reduced Pete Waterman to tears.
