Surprised that no-one else is interested in Storm.

Listen to his audition again, great voice. The Mums will love him, Journey South style etc...

Seems certain to make the live shows but still 50/1?

Thoughts?

The Mums will love him

Not necessarily, he's 37 and a bit weird. I was under the impression Cowell had him put through to add some tragedy to the pantomime?

He changed his name at 16 "to help him become a professional singer". So why hasn't he succeeded in the last 20 years? Different case from other older types eg Subo who, although they sing all their lives, have only recently tried to hit the big time via XF / BGT.

(I'm personally not fond of the whiny, high pitched voice in male singers)

Confession: As his category has lost the groups and 25-28s I think he's got a chance of getting through and today I did have a bit at the exceedingly high odds.

Can't see him winning though.

Fair enough, not sure if I understand this comment though "As his category has lost the groups", weren't the groups always separate?

I agree he's not worthy of a short price but when available at 100-1 and 50-1 a great trading opportunity, I'd make him a 20-1 shot if he makes the live show. And I think he would be a versatile performer.

Yeah, slip of the toung, I guess the main point is there hasn't been much in his group apart from Mary so far.

The odd thing is fiddling about with that category (age)

Treyc could have made it a deceptively strong line up. Someone remind me why it has been changed?

This year's pantomime villain who Cowell pretends he can't stand and the voters keep saving.
Report Kauto SuperStar September 26, 2010 3:14 AM BST
Exactly.
Hopefully this year's Jedward.
I think his voice is one of the best and see him top 6.
Won't win but excellent trading opportunity.
