His sweeper/keeper act to finally cost him and Germany.Has been a little lucky so far with the opposition players backing away when he comes flying out...can't see Messi ,Higuain or Agüero backing away.

Nothing to do with luck. He has played this way for years. The way the "experts" on TV go on about it you would think he only started it this world cup and doesnt know what he is doing.
What I find depressing is that he is a far better distributer of the ball than any of the English defenders.
