Friend of mine backed Sturridge to be top scorer in World Cup at 11/4. Although he was joint top scorer with Rooney, his private bookie paid the full odds, to his surprise. Just wonder if the main bookmakers did the same or whether they treated the bet as a 'dead heat'.
