croatia battering the favs
By:
what did you expect? 10-0?
they didnt play all that good and won. croatia are 2nd favs in the group, they arent gonna just lie down and let brazil win ffs. |
By:
ffs? what does that mean?
By:
ffs means free penalties when needed (and also clear penalties for opposition denied)

Where's the Garrinchas? the Gauchos?. Is the 'Brazilian Bendtner' Fred really the best they can do
what a let down ![]() |
By:
Two looks at them now and they've been poor both times.
Good call, Charlton. |
By:
light years away from the 1970 side

Not playing like favs seen a few teams way ahead of them at mo

Brazil will need to have a re-think about who plays imo.
Never heard of a "Brazil" team play with 2 sitting midfield plays 1 is plenty imo. More attacking (pace) players need in attack. On what I have seen so far, the Germans look the biz ![]() |
By:
still?

still in it

So are Greece and they're sh!t.
By:
Think people will still be saying they cant win it after they lift the trophy.
By:
never said "they can't win it".
I said 3/1 is for mugs only. |
By:
thought all the mugs were backing spain for the WC
By:
Still think Brazil are the ones to beat even tho they have a few weaknesses in the team.
So do the rest imo. |
By:
While this WC has been hugely entertaining, there is no outstanding side in the tourney. And thats why Brazil remain favourites. Home advantage counts for a lot.
By:
As I keep saying, "there is no outstanding team in this tourney"
By:
Who is going to beat them? The only side I could see beating them is Columbia. If they get through that it's in the bag.
By:
Anyone, can beat anyone, because there are no outstanding sides, so anyone left in can still win it.

It's looking more and more like a Brazil v Holland final. And that's a pity. It'll be a dull affair with the Dutch involved.
By:
i think belgium would beat the dutch if they manage to make the semis
holland are so over reliant on Robben... if you can contain him ( easier said than done I know )..then the dutch attacking threat is hugely reduced ditto for brazil and Argentina with messi and neymar also i think its a bit premature to be calling Brazil finalists... they are too much of a one man band... the will have to really up their game if they play as poorly as they have done so far then Colombia or the germans /french would beat them. |
By:
I did brazil for a long time , same price now which is amazing considering only three games left
They havnt met the expectations of the 70s side , but what ever will Wouldn't be on anyone else , fantastic mix of young talent and experience also with home advantage and a hunger they talk off constantly class they have all over the park is frightening , and the whole team can score with Luiz a defender scoring last time and are growing more confident as a unit with each game , chile was a big win for them , a tougher side than any other big guns faced I expect them to win with ease over Columbia , and beat the germans in the semis , a team who just beat the USA and took 120 mins to beat Algeria The 3/1 will be long gone tomorrow evening I would grab a decent slice now before the box to box in two passes stuff starts , I expect a 3/4 goal margin tomorrow Did I mention home advantage ![]() |
By:
to mention this brazillian side with the 70s side is a complete joke its light years away,as other brazil sides from previous world cups.
By:
i agree
the two teams are not even in the same universe |
By:
thanks extreme, your old enough and lucky enough to have seen a truly brilliant world class side.
the words "world class" are used to lightly these days. |

By:
hello :-) = complete mug

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() WOW This Brazil side could be compared to the 1982 side though. Just to be clear I mean the West German 1982 side. |

As I said , 3/1 will be long gone this evening as is the 130/1 for Luiz to be golden ball winner
![]() That for the complete tool that is Charlton 2005 ![]() |

By:
Neymar out of world cup. 3/1... get it while you can!! :P
