if brazil were to put in a bad performance then the fans could easily turn against them

reckon that they will get the hometown decisions and expect them to be awarded a few dubious penalties

I'd love a bigger price, and hopefully I'll get one but I think their group is p1ss easy and they will beat either Vidal-less Chile or a very average Holland in R2.

QF and SF are in extremely hot and humid Fortaleza and Salvador respectively (presuming they win group) so will have a huge advantage v any European sides (Italy/England) in QF (Germany, France, Belgium, Portugal) in SF. That's not to mention the amazing atmosphere from the partisan home crowd.

Anyone that beats Brazil on their own patch has to have no weaknesses. Can't see who that is. Germany no strikers. Spain best players too old and no strikers. Argentina too many individuals and dodgy defence. I'm most afraid of Argentina but think Brazil are more complete as a team.

As for pressure and protest, it's a load of nonsense. That sort of media tosh scarey-story is brought up before every tournament. The public will be behind this big style, and the further it goes the longer it gives Brazil an advantage. By the semi-final stage Brazil's world cup will be rocking like the London Olympics, and the atmosphere will carry Brazil to the trophy.

If you don't believe me check out the atmosphere in the ground for the Confed Cup. And that was bascially friendlies.

agree with mc, if brazil win wc i'm buying a helicopter with winnings. Hopefully howard webb gets a brazil game in 1/4s or semis as bound to give decisions their way.
