I know Mexico were horrible and needed USA to get them to qualify but I think they'll finish 2nd in the group and have a decent tournament as always

Australia to not score a goal would be more interesting. They are absolute garbage, last time I seen them play France knocked almost double digits past them

Mexico have the worst qualifying record of any team, they came 4th in concacaf behind USA, Costa Rica and Honduras and only qualified coz they beat New Zealand in the playoffs

They had 3 0-0 draws at home against the likes of Jamaica and Costa Rica.

They are a very average side . Their best player is Javier Hernandez

I know two of these are surprising.

that was under a different coach, so doesn't count

honduras look a good shout, they really do seem poor. beaten by israel last match, who I believe didn't even play a proper team
