With the Dutch playing a day earlyer than spain and germany should they not be slight favs as they would have nad an extra 24 hours rest plus with the possibilty of germany and spain going to extra time should play a bit of a factor in the price?

three days/four days. not going to make much difference. plenty of time recovery for both.

if uruguay can score 2 against them without Suarez

spain or germany could be looking at 4 or 5 [;)]

No way should they be faves, but your right that they are a bit long. The extra day will make a difference, even if it is small, plus there's always the chance of an injury/suspension or extra time in Spain-Germany.

The extra day of rest for Holland possibly takes on more importance now we are nearing the end of the tournament, and obviously more so if tonight's game goes to extra time.

Not sure I would want to take around 1.65 on Germany or Spain to beat Holland in the final (seems very short), though I can see the case for making either of those sides a bit better than marginal favourites over the Dutch in the final.

I am not sure the German defence is that much stronger than the Dutch and I doubt the Germans would find it quite so easy to out think the Dutch side in the way they out thought England and Argentina. Also, the playing style of the German side is becoming more evident now and so should be a little easier for opponents to plan against or prepare for. The Dutch side may be a little more fragile temperamentally, though it is not entirely unknown for German sides to unravel under the pressure of big matches.

The Spanish side would have more tools for unpicking the seeming weaknesses in the Dutch defence, but might be more vulnerable to the Dutch counter attack. If Holland can hold it together mentally in the final, it is hard to see them not creating a number of goal scoring opportunities whichever of the two possible opponents they face in the final. With quality attacking players and some good finishers in the side, and the possibility that the Dutch may really hit their stride against a less defensively minded opponent in the final, the current price of 2.5 seems to underestimate their chances.
