...based solely on what the teams have shown in the tournament so far without any knowledge or preconceptions of who are the supposed star teams/players?

Germany: Evs-head & shoulders above anything else, even accounting for the 10-man defeat v Serbia.

Holland: 3/1-hardly the 'Brilliant Orange' of days gone by but have still won every game in efficient style.

Uruguay: 7/1-biggest slice of luck a team will ever get in last round but have looked an impressive team unit with hugely dangerous forward duo. Missing Suarez & possible other key men from semi could be too huge an obstacle to overcome now though.

Spain: 7/1-As Donald Sutherland said in the Dirty Dozen 'very pretty, but can they fight?'. Little to show from a lot of possession and dodged a major bullet themselves in quarter final. Being totally carried by Villa.

hypothetically.......
Holland would seem to have beaten the strongest opposition, yet Germany look like champs. Uruguay would appear to have led a charmed life so far and Spain keep ball but don't look convincing.

on what i've seen
1.germany
2.spain
3.holland
4.uruguay

I dont think we've seen the best of the spanish though and feel they'll prob have enough to beat germany, their defence will be the strongest the germans have faced.

I can't believe Spain are favourites against Germany.
