Some people have posted that we're not so bad and we haven't been so bad over the years and we shouldn't over react.
Can i suggest to those people that they take a piece of paper and compare England's achievements in major tournaments to Brazil, Argentina, Germany, Spain, France, Italy and Holland. Start on any date you like, but let's take 1950 , so that it includes England's one success. It's almost schizophrenic that people can look at this record and think it's not such a bad track, and at the same time think England are contenders. On top of that , England have played such inept horrible football for so long, and been represented by such utter spineless bottom feeders, it is a f@cking disgrace. |

No, If England had been allowed the same rules for goals of every other side we'd have been holding Germany 2-2. Doesn't mean we'd have won the game or the WC, but it does mean we would have been doing better against them than pretty much anyone else did in this WC (apart from the Serbia 'bent ref' game). |
