worked ok this morning on bets i struck then on horses and football

market been frozen for 20 minutes,no option to lay tonight chaps

oh well...their loss (and maybe not my gain )

No probs for me.  Maybe log out, close browser and return to site?  That's what I do when I have problems with the site.

I managed to get a 30p Buy on goal minutes at 116.  Now Ghana has scored I could take about a £6 profit.  Going to let it ride now as I hope Uruguay will go for it and maybe get picked off themselves by Ghana.  Goal fest second half please.....lol

finally managed to get my bet on an says its been placed in my account but isnt showing on my world cup winner bets.does this mean bet has been matched?

I only wanted a tenner bet on ghana to win in 90 minutes.

Tried to place the bet 5 times and each time I pressed submit it told me I had no bets on the market.

Turned the computer on this morning to find out my account has been deficited 50.00!

I don't mind losing the 10.00 I originally wanted to bet, but I do object to having the other 40.00 removed from my account.

I suggest anyone else experiencing problems placing a bet just before the U v G match started looks carefully at their account to make sure the same has not happened to them...

If you see a problem with your account then ring betfair on 0844 871 0000  (then press option 4 on your phonepad). They are currently investigating my claim for my 40.00 reimbursement and will ring me back later.

I will update people on this thread with their response once received.

I had problems trying to place a bet around h/t last night, same problem got to the countdown, the screen showed I had no bets but the odds I was seeking were still available. Looking at matched bets it showed as not matched so I then deleted it from there and tried again. I finally succeeded in getting a £4 (you can tell i'm a big player) on over 1.5 goals at 1.51, it showed it was matched and the profit and loss was shown against the selections. This morning I looked at my account and there is a loss of £4 shown on the basis I bet of Ghana qualifying. Now whilst not confident to risk a whole £4!!!  I would have gone for Uruguay if anyone. I have emailed this morning - will post the result.

betfair have resolved my complaint and reimbursed my 40.00 about an hour ago.

Very good customer service.
