It was on a plate for us. Easy group, Ghana in the last 16, Uraguay in the quarters. Wouldnt meet a serious contender until the semis and then anything could happen. What a waste!

Someone replied to me when I said it was a weak group. He pointed out that on FIFA rankings there was a weaker group. Now it looks like FIFA need to spend some time on their rankings.

You have to remember that rankings are based on historic results not on current form.
