I could not understand why Lineker and co. thought he played well today. Whilst I appreciate the first goal was down to poor centre half play I thought James should have got to it before Kloser once he got round Upson as he was only 10 yards out when he kicked it direct from the goal kick. Was also seriously at fault for their third goal. I am not suggesting he was our worst player but was amazed he was getting praised. Thought only Lampard (for a change) and Johnson (possibly) were ok. Rooney was slightly better today (not hard) and Defoe had no service but the other seven were shocking!!

Johnson was continually caught out of position he was a total liability today, he usually is though so that was par for the course. James was awful too and the pundits must be pi ssed to suggest otherwise

James concentrating more on getting a job in the media - popping up everywhere in interviews trying to look like the suave and interesting interviewee.  Even heard him refer to himself in the third person ("this is not all about David James") - always a sign of someone completely up himself.

Like him or not, James was our best player against Germany by miles.  If Green was in goal I dread to think how many goals we would have shipped.
