Capello - £6million per year and plays 4-4-2

The Players - £100,000+ per week and cannot put in a performance for your country

Too much money the problem?

Little incentive.

Too many foreigners, make your players look good/comfortable.

the FA. No proper coaching at grass roots level. We only produce flat track bullies.

CAPELLO, mistake after mistake, should be working in a pizza factory not managing the greatest team in the world.
Report cricnut June 27, 2010 4:53 PM BST
rooney don't defend, it ain't the manager, its the players, unfortunatly this is the best we got and they ain't anywhere near good enough
Report Dirk Dirmackerie June 27, 2010 4:54 PM BST
I blame the Sun, the Mirror, the Daily Mail, the times, the BBC. All the British press are putting constant pressure on the team and the manager. Why else is it that Erikson, Capello produce good results until they manage England?
Report Nedalaaar June 27, 2010 4:56 PM BST
The team just isn't good enough and never have been? As an Irish bloke living in England, it's bemusing seeing the public bigging up England and thinking 'this is our year!' at every major tournament.. Truth is, they're a distinctly average football team.

Capello. He's destroyed the English style. England has lost as always but giving this time a pathetic Italian image.
Report PierreLaRogue June 27, 2010 4:58 PM BST
Erikson ruined fiorentina, was sh*t with Ivory Coast, he's a sh*t manager, capello is B grade manager and when you put him in charge of an english team he becomes a C grade manager because he doesn't understand the culture or the language or the passion.
Report RozelKid June 27, 2010 5:00 PM BST
no  -one is to blame...ENGLAND ARE JUST PURE ****...the only person you should blame is yourselves for thinking they were good and can win games

I thought he was manager of Englaznd not Spain or Brazil!

capello is to blame, FA is to blame, these players might not of been good enough, but they have been badly mismanaged.

The Golden Generation of players who throughout the 2000s have been poor

Capello for picking the Untouchables, when he said form was what mattered
