Good chance but Brazil are still top quality team. Not as much flair but this squad is a tournament team

Great day for my bet on Netherlands with both Germany and England fecking it up the price drops without them kicking a ball - genius.

Still not up to 100% pace yet, but a clinical piece gets them 2 out of 2 so far, and should have been 3-0 really.
Just getting the Dutch engine warmed up nicely.... ![]() |

Not looking too bad now.....

If you are on the Dutch get any profit out now. This is a s far as this ordinary side go.

They can score against any side here, so they have a chance.

Both their goals today were mistakes by the defence. Other than that they looked distinctly ordinary.
Personally I don't see them scoring against Brazil and if they do they will concede 3. A game of opinions tho ;-) |

They were playing at about 50% today and were comfortable (against the side that put out Italy).
Brazil are nothing special this year. |

Should it happen, Brazil v Netherlands will be hyped up to be a wonder game in store no doubt. However the system both sides are playing at the moment with 2 defensive midfielders I expect it to be a snorefest.
In a match that could go either way in a penalty shoot out (after a 0-0)or a 1-0, Netherlands probably will be the better value. Still fancy Brazil though[;)] |

The Dutch defence looked decidedly dodgy today.

wd shrewdbury! Yes! After the Slovak match they were at 7's, then went up to 10-ish prematch thanks to all the Brazil hype. Piled in here; nervous times at 0-1 admittedly. Hup Holland hup!

Brazil and Argentina out.
![]() Uraguay in semis (already backed them too so happy days....) Spain the biggest dangers now along with Germans, but I'll be laying off to guarantee some profits before that final game is off. |
|
By:
Right, that's comfortably into the final.
![]() Time to consider how much profit to guarantee now, depending on the other semi, and sit back and hope for a big payoff in the final! Come on the Oranges!! ![]() ![]() ![]() |

still around 2.5, but some pressure appearing now to push that down perhaps. Main gripe with Holland seems to be that they don't win 4-1 with flair. However:
-ranked 2-4 for several years -25-match unbeaten streak (since '08), what is it, 12 straight wins? -won every world cup game in regulation time -beat best team in the world after being down a goal -extremely potent offense with Sneijder and Robben, both in top form and key players with their Champions League finalist squads (van Bommel is captain of one). Solid defense. -will only be satisfied with a World Cup -all regular players healthy and unbooked -extra day's rest Negatives: -few patriotic backers to drive their price down apparently Germany has looked good, no question, but how much of that is due to getting early goals and taking advantage of desperate teams pressing too much. Against Serbia 0-1 they didn't look that great. Spain is quality obviously, but the Switzerland and Paraguay games would plant a few seeds of doubt in my mind. |

Yep, forgot the extra days rest, though not sure it will make that much difference, but here's hoping.
Just need a bloodbath between these two tonight - preferably 3 reds each. ![]() I agree as you say they've been underated because they don't play as 'flashy' football as several other sides (who are mostly no longer in the competition). |
