With the no ball allegations being thrown about at the moment, it seems whether the results of the match fixing investigations will convict the players involved or not does not really mater any more. The reputation of the country's cricket team is tarnished and it's not only the rest of the world that is angry. The Pakistani themselves are deeply embarrassed and angry specially at a time when the country is suffering from its worst floods in history, a war with Al-Qaeda in Pakistan and on the border with Afghanistan which is likely to last a century.
This is a time for contemplation and to re-build. But what can be done, is it what everybody on the forum is saying that needs to change. The magic word 'Mentality', how do you change the mentality of a nation, is it through hardship that they learn whatever we are doing isn't working. Is this revelation going to come about, has it actually already come about but people power has been suppressed through corrupt leadership, the country's elite or some other dark force.
I personal believe and the country needs a social revolution, it needs a fresh start. It needs to be free religious fundamentalism, current corrupt leadership, removal of wealth from the super wealthy who have power to guide the nation for the better but choose to look the other just like their ancestors have done for generations. VIVA La Revolution, VIVA, VIVA.
