admittedly for france to get thru to the last 16 it needs a result in the mex-uru game and then france to beat sa by a margin that means their gd supercedes the loser of that game, but with france you just never know. if you laid it, they wud go and do it thats for sure. at 200 i thought it was worth a dabble

Poor bet, you'd do far better by backing them to qualify at 12s as they will easily be 20/1  if they get through to play argentina.

Although I think its a **** bet, they might well get thru.  If Mexico think they can win then they will go for it.  Finishing second they will play Argentina so they need a win to face the mighty Greeks.  You would still need a cricket score tho
