Hey guys, Australian watching the German game tomorrow morning our time. Interested in your thoughts on if we can draw this one?? Also, if you could say whether you think we can get out of the group? From my view a draw would be a great result and we might stand a chance to beat ghana and serbia? Thoughts would be appreciated. Also, noted German team have written us off already, not like the Germans to be overconfident.. LOL

interesting panther, last world cup we got thru to next round and we had Brazil, Croatia and Japan, looks a similar group, one stand out and two teams which are beatable..
exacta...i dont think australia are as good as 4 years ago...do you think your boys will get through ???
Germany and Serbia clearly the best in this group IMO and both are probably decent trading opportunities since group is paired with England's for R2
I don't think we'll get through, we are a confidence team, if we start well we might be half a chance against Ghana and Serbia. Only chance tonight would be 1-1 with Timmy Cahill pinching a goal, or a cameo from kewell who i think will come off the bench. They say Germany are a young side so might be a bit nervous early??

The manager usually just parks the bus even against Asian sides so expect the socceroos to defend and try to hang on for a draw.
I don`t blame them for playing this way - it is the best chance for this team to progress but I`m sure a lot of neutrals will want Germany to win because they will try to play football.

I fully expect Özil, Podolski, Cacau and Marin to have a field day running at Moore, Neill and Chippers. Those guys were slow 10 years ago.....

that back four are too slow im afraid. if we go a goal down early, we dont have the team to chase the game. if we get a draw out of germany i will be amazed.
This Aussie team are rubbish, without the magic of Hiddink will struggle to get a point.
I think you have a big chance of getting through if you get a point today

i disagree, think it will be very defensive from aussies, will look to park the bus and counter attack, i'd guess 1-0 to germany or 1-1
backed draw at 4.30, think germany need 2 to win this one and goals in tournament so far seem hard to come by
