It looks very tight. SK appeared to be the whipping boys, but they can get point(s) in my opinion. The Greece v Nigeria game appears to be crucial.

Argentina can beat Greece and SK , but they need to be very motivated because their tactical discipline is absolutely poor.

That said, what do you guys think about Greece vs SK? That's the game I want to lump on.

I wouldn't back Argentina with any confidence to beat any of its group opponents. Did you see the S.American qualifiers? They are a mess. Diego has picked a lousy squad and they have no game plan. I think they are a massive lay and expect Nigeria to get at least a draw in the opening game against them.

Yes I watched them vs Peru, Brazil and Uruguay. They were extremely erratic, but were fortunate to beat the first and last teams.

If Argentina achieve any results better than the quarter finals, it must be down to the personal influence of Maradona and the talent of the players, but not the sort of tactical brillance shown in 1990.

This group is very peculiar, i agree. In ref to your Greece vs. SK enquiry, i would wait until the friendlies next week, and in particular the North Korea vs. Greece game. This should give us an indication of how we will handle ourselves versus asian opponents, something we have never come up against before.

There is a very good chance that we, and not the south koreans, will be the whipping boys, and would not be surprised even to see SK sneaking through.

In ref to Argentina, i guess it all comes down to if the players want it bad enough. There is certainly quality in their squad, and2-3 players have the ability to take the team by the hand, and progress them to last 8, or last 4. dont see them much further to be honest.

The real enigma however is Nigeria. How will they perform on their home continent? what motiviation? what official pushing cause they are afrikan team?

anyway, GL
