be lucky to score let alone be top scorer

just wont be match fit simple as - going into this - need to be firing on all cylinders - he is not - spain be lucky to make it to quarters also

Torres hasn't been 100% fit for two years and his goalscoring record is still phenomenal. Wouldn't surprise me if he was topscorer but I'd want more than 15 given his recent operation

Spain will play Villa up top on his own.

If Torres is fit there is not a chance in hell that they will not start him,the reasoning for this is that he is probably the best striker in the world.

How did your brother come up with that little gem? Not heard that before!

Two months off leading up to the World Cup is the perfect prep for a top striker in a team that expects to go all the way. Torres will be "fit" for the World Cup, even if he has to take the odd cortizone injection he'll deem the prize worth the sacrifice.
