is there some kind of table of possible fixtures online?
Report liveitlarge April 14, 2010 10:59 PM BST
spain could meet brazil if brazil finish second and spain win their group.
as an england fan i hope that happens!!!!
Report Dr GlassJaw April 15, 2010 12:34 AM BST
If they do meet, it will most likely be in the final
Report el genio April 15, 2010 12:57 AM BST
why as an England fan? England won't make it past the Quarters.
Report Robbie_Box April 15, 2010 4:55 PM BST
Decent chance of them meeting in the Second Round.

Brazil win Group Spain come 2nd in theirs
Or Spain win their group and Brazil come 2nd in theirs.

that's why they are both lays at the prices. Ivory Coast are capable of topping the Brazil group, esp as they have (in theory) easy game first, whereas Brazil play Portugal. Only trouble is, Sven is the new IC gaffer and this charlatan has already managed to ruin England's golden generation and do his best to f*ck up Mexico's qualifying chances. I dread to think what he'll do with IC.

i thought portugal played ivory coast 1st

Portugal v Brazil play last.

'England's Golden Generation' lol. Perhaps in terms of England it was a golden generation but compared to other world teams it really isn't.
Report johnnyrant April 15, 2010 11:36 PM BST
yes, it was a golden generation. At the tail end of it now. If we had Capello in charge in 2004 and 2006 we would have done much better. Fact. Sven was f*cking useless
Report el genio April 15, 2010 11:45 PM BST
load of rubbish. The players England had were good but not able to compete against the very best. They lost to a better team every time.
Report liveitlarge April 16, 2010 12:09 AM BST
if fabio was manager in 2006 we would have won as that was the poorest world cup in history
Report asparagus April 16, 2010 12:12 AM BST
I'm with Johnnyrant. Sven was an appalling manager who made major mistakes which cost us in 2004 and 2006. Not saying we would have won those competitions but Sven made sure our chances were much slimmer. (Spain can only meet Brazil in the 2nd round or the final. If they both win their groups they are in separate helves of the draw.)
Report el genio April 16, 2010 12:14 AM BST
England are mediocre. End of thread.

Saturday.

They will only meet in the final. They are both certs to win their groups. No real competition in either.

They will not meet tho. Spain will not be in the final.

Strange post. Both Portugal and IC are s hit. Not near their previous bests, and even at that would not have been good enough.
