True/False ?

Obviously it would be desirable to have a top class keeper but can anyone name a poor keeper who won a world cup winners medal ?

A keeper can easily have a good competition without being world class. Barthez won a winners medal. He was very much like david james in that he could be brilliant one minute and very poor the next. Greece won the Euro champs with a very average keeper. For winning a Premeiership a top goalkeeper can be important. Not as important in a world cup imo.

ffs it's a knockout competition, you don't even have to be the best team to win it let alone have a top class player in every position.
