Does anyone have a rough idea what you can expect to pay for flights and accommodation for the WC?

I have a ticket for a match,cost me £93
I have a hotel booked
I HAVE A PLANE TICKET BOOKED (£1006)

ONE BIG PROBLEM
I CAN NOT GO.
Report Onionss December 1, 2009 3:28 PM GMT
British Airways have flights (If booked before January) at £600.

I'm not sure about Hotel prices as I have a house I'm staying at, but the sooner you book the cheaper they will be I assume.

You are looking at about a £1000-£1300 for Flight and Hotel if you book soon.

Onionss - where can I find that offer?
Is that a standard price for anyone if booked before Jan or are there other conditions?

Cheapest BA looks like a grand to me and will a lot more by next week, after Friday prices will rocket.

The cheapest flights are thru KLM. I have my flights booked cost £630 each from Edinburgh to Amsterdam then Nairobi and on to Joburg. Cheapest I can see now from London are about £750.
Cost of accomodation varies dramatically. Look at paying £50 per head per night minumum. Probably nearer £80 tho.
I am going from 1st July to 13th Got tickets for the final £550 each. Maybe catch a qurter or semi too.

All in all it aint gonna be cheap.
Report Onionss December 2, 2009 9:27 PM GMT
na wont be cheap, but will be worth every penny of it if England get there.
Report old ace December 3, 2009 8:52 AM GMT
ba now £990 ish direct and after the draw will be £1400 if you pay over the odds for accomodation you deserve to have yer pants pulled down , i will be taking a force ten 2 man tent and driving there in an ice cream van . I reckon that selling the raspberry mivvi lollies and ice pops to the grateful africans on the way will pay for my petrol.
Theres no flies on me
Report Huggy December 3, 2009 9:41 AM GMT
I have been told that the £1006 that i have spent is lost,as its non transferable.
Anybody got any ideas to get round this problem.

I've got mates in jo'burg & cape town so no problem with accommodation - just need to sort out flights. Looks like anything under a grand is as good as it's going to get.
