Lars Elton Myhre is the best norwegian here. Dont think other Norwegians will be topp 5-6

Bit late, sorry. Had to make my bets first :)

HERBST - pre race fav, naturally the one to beat. If he fails though, you normally got 10 guys who can win this. However, the slope will not probably hold up for too many skiiers, so an early start number in the 1st run is a BIG advantage.
Herbst got number 7, not ideal for him and this is his last and only chance for glory. Tremendous pressure and I would rather lay him instead of backing him.

ZURBRIGGEN - Will give him another chance at a massive price, 25/1 at Betfair is a must bet. For once, was so defensive in the slalom in the Super Combined. Now he got his medal there, and today it can only be one way of thinking - All In racing.
He is good enough, 2nd and 5th last two races and starts with number one in the first run. Ideal and this must be the best value for us in my opinion. Should be a good opportunity of him drifting to under 10/1 and possibly even 5/1 after the first run.

PRANGER - I hold him very high. Almost there Herbst is. No pressure for him from the Austrian media. 15/1 available and start number 5 is good in the first run. He normally skies good in the same slopes that Herbst skies good in, and the 2nd run is set by the Austrian Coach.....

MYHRER - The Swede with highest capacity. 4th last Olympics and in media he has been saying that the slope fits him superbly. I am not to keen of his starting number 12, that might be a rather big disadvantage in case the slope does not hold up. However, at current prices, I am willing to take that risk. He wont hold back at all today.

JANYK/NEUREUTHER - Would normally think of backing both of them, but 14th and 15th starting position in the 1st run should make their chances much less than if an earlier number. Both can, on their day, win this, but then they need the slope to hold up.

I can keep on giving more possible winners, but let's stop for now. Zurbriggen and Pranger for me, and small stake on Myhrer.

Good Luck with your bets.

Real bad conditions yet again. An early number in the first run must be such an advantage.

Superb run by Razzioli and he is now in the winning position. Will he cope with the pressure?
That is the key question, who knows.
What we do know, is that Razzioli has skied out in 6 of his last 13 slalom races and 17 of his last 40 races.
He has a chance to become the first Italian winner in the discipline since the great Alberto Tomba.
It will for sure be a bad slope for him to ski on in the 2nd run, and you can count on someone in the Top 8 to put down a super 2nd run.
