maybe they just got the set up right for this ice, maybe she got lucky with the ice temp going first, just hope she wins tbh

Dear me
what a terrible attitude some have Shes no doubt worked her socks off to get into condition to do this. Probably had to put in hard hours around a job and some are moaning that shes a ** |
By:
Look at Amy's training runs and she's gradually got quicker. Going from 54.22 to 53.68 is class
By:
look steptoes - we're british - we have to moan about something!

Track suits. Result from Whistler last year. |
By:
Agreed steptoe.
I thought she has decent form and had been 2nd in training. |
By:
1st run killed Rudman, half a second slower has cost her a medal
By:
There will be another complaint from the americans over her helmet fo sho.
By:
horses for courses then!
By:
You can't please some people, if they moan when a 13/1 shot comes in, what exactly do they do when they back a 1.01 loser :0
By:
over half a second up, just steer it down ffs
By:
Surprising how much superior she has been to Shelley Rudman. Appreciate Rudman said she wasn't happy on track and needed more practise runs but even so...
By:
williams could slide down on her arse and still win!
By:
i dont think its from a betting point of view don, its just hard to understand exactly whats making her quicker
By:
What times the final run ?
By:
12.55 begins
By:
Intrestingly, the other very fast North American track - Lake Placid - Williams also finished 2nd.
By:
rudman good chance of bronze her, she's just run the 2nd fastest today!
By:
men first isn't it in between?
By:
sceduled for then but the first run began 2 or 3 minutes early so guessing 2nd run will be right on time
By:
what is the likely hood of amy doing something stupid here? I've seen a lot of runs now and can find nothing to back up the comms claim of "anything can happen and usually does in skeleton" what does he know that we don't? Can she fall off or something?
By:
good luck to her. I'd make a fortune if she blew it, but fair play - seems a nice girl, and showed some balls not to choke after 24 hours to think about it and helmetgate.
By:
you are right there, Sir Denis
By:
she cant lose, impossible
By:
i think she takes fewer steers (legs wider apart) than the other competitors, so takes a few more bumps and looks messier but the speed is not compromised as much as by steering
By:
No men arnt till 2.20uk time
By:
ok ty
By:
You need some balls to do that. fecking speed
By:
Rudman is 0.7 off bronze, next to no chance of getting it
By:
they can take bad hits
Recall see a report earlier this week about rudmans husband who takes part in mens event completely messing up in previous games |
By:
wot price is williams? 1.1?
By:
she could fall out - look what happened to the poor Georgian fella. I want her to win by the way - just pointing out that she's not won yet
By:
1.07
By:
1.08/09
By:
lose half a second on a bump, it's all in play. but prices about right now imo.
By:
so its win or die johnny?? :^0
By:
ffs, don't jinx her
By:
be about 1.25 then. takes about half hour to get them all down.
By:
she's too short considering i layed her at 1.6 ffs, hoping for global warming to come & melt the track
