This could be an interesting race
Vonn hasn't won a major medal in this event before, but if she's 1.5 seconds better than anyone after the Downhill, she has a decent chance
Riesch performance in the downhill is a big worry, especially as her training runs weren't that good. She's normally a much better slalom skiier than Vonn, so if she's within a second, she should be favourite (also she failed to finish in St Moritz)
Paerson, I assume isn't competing after yesterdays fall
Zettel won the worlds last year, but her downhill form has to be a worry. She needs to stay really competitive
Goergel, if she puts in a good downhill, will be in with a great shout as she can make up time on the slalom
A lot will depend for me on how tough the downhill course if for this. Also I'd be worried about Vonns ankle, having 2 races in a day, with a very tough on the ankle slalom

suter at 28's a massive price for me. made loads of errors yesterday and still came 5th. hopefully will improve her downhill enough and ski a decent slalom
suter isn't going to make anytime on the slalom though, thats what would worry me about her

I'm laying Reisch. I'm backing Vonn against her on another site's hth market. Vonn will go for everything, and knowing what she's like with failing to complete slalom runs over this winter, it will probably cost me. But I've seen Reisch fail far too often for being cautious and for me she's way under the odds. I could be wrong....
If Reisch puts together 2 runs she's capable of though, I don't think anyone will beat her - but agree on recent form she's a lay at that price.
Vonn has won the odd event on the world cup for combined, but she'll likely find at least one too good for her. The h2h for Vonn is a good bet

Vonn leads by 0.8, I would have liked 1 second but that will do.
Riesch will make that up in the slalom easily, Vonn to get a medal might be in trouble, I've laid that
no doubt that tumble will have taken a toll on her, didn't look her best

If the course organisers are interested, please take 20 seconds off the Slalom run as well just like the standard shortened Downhill to make it fair!
she's 1.85 behind, she's a very good slalom skier and can make that up, but Vonn isn't the mug she was and Riesch likely to go faster. Not a terrible bet, but its 33s for a reason

I know, I was just going over the top as to how much I want taken off. With the different format from Torino, they're bound to take less off the one run Slalom run.
In turin, they had 2 slalom runs though. They only have 1 now, so it won't be too short
went to get some food and the 33's i wanted on zettel is now 20's with sj and 14's with pp. only 2 accounts i have money in

that Anja Paerson has got some serious thighs on her, like tree trunks! get between those and there's no escape
thats an awesome ski by Mancuso, she's the star for me so far
some mug just backed paerson to beat resich for £140 @ 1.02, ouch!!!
