Don't the slalom skiers usuaklkly win?

Slalom skiers must be disadvantaged now that there's only 1 slalom run. Bode at 8.8 looks a fair bet to me.

Yes, slalom skiers have still an advantage, you lose more time between 60 gates than in 20 in 20 high speed turns.

I look for a slalom specialist who has shown respectable results in dhill runs (top 25 in training maybe)

2nd i think though it was a different event then, just combined, without the 'super'. Race postponed anyway

What does the super bit do?

i think it means they have one super g run, and then only one slalom run

it is either a super g or a shortened downhill and a single slalom run

Its one downhill run followed by one slalom run using a shorter course. The times are added together. The fastest total time determines the winner.
