Be sorry to see it go, from memory it was one of the first tracks that Betfair offered in-play along with Aqueduct which is also going soon, Penn National, Charles Town and Tampa Bay Downs. A sign of the times around the world with closures in South Africa too. Hard to believe all UK tracks will continue the way things are going.

It's very sad but I was expecting this. It's more profitable to sell the land to build flats and houses, this business is dying slowly and woke ideology is growing and wants to cancel horse racing. I believe the next victim is going to be Aqueduct.

The Arizona Racing Commission approved by a unanimous 4-0 vote, Turf Paradise’s request for a race meet in 2024. The track announced that it will host a 57-day live meet, running from January 29 through May 4.
“I decided to postpone my retirement because of the many stake holders here in Arizona that want racing to continue,” said track owner Jerry Simms.
A signed contract between Turf and the Arizona Horsemen’s Benevolent and Protective Association (AzHBPA), listed a 4-day a week live schedule, Monday through Thursday. Horses will be allowed into the stable area December 18 with training beginning December 26.
