Aqueduct R7 today, Double Shot ran on from nowhere to get up on the line. Didn't see how much was traded at the maximum.

Well , as you asked, I’ll tell you.
Absolutely Zero £.
In-running on US racing ceased over 15 years ago.
Report Eddie Batt January 24, 2021 3:04 PM GMT
On the sauce Mike?
Report RothmanMike January 25, 2021 5:39 PM GMT
Explain please.
The guy asked how much was traded at the maximum, I presume 999.0
My answer advised that as there was no longer any in-running betting, it would not get to any bigger odds than the “off” odds
no matter where it was in the race , even if it was tailed off.
So who’s on the sauce ?
Report tinytuco January 25, 2021 7:37 PM GMT
Errr, Rothman, you're failing very, very hard here....

Aqueducts been going in running now for about 4/5 years or so.

Parx and Delta in running tonight - maybe check out Jamees "in running" schedule thread for a list of tracks?
Report RothmanMike January 25, 2021 8:51 PM GMT
Yes, had a bad relapse.
I only Lay to be honest so didn’t realise they had restarted.I’m sure they did suspend in-running for a prolonged period sometime ago.
Apologies Jamee and Eddie.

RothmanMike, I thought you paid for your Friday beer money by laying the outsiders at Penn?
Have you never seen the markets go in-play in all those years?
Blimey, what do you drink on Fridays?!
Report RothmanMike January 25, 2021 9:51 PM GMT
I do, I do.
Never really took too much notice as I Lay before the”off”, but I really should know these things.
A real schoolboy error.
Report RothmanMike January 25, 2021 10:00 PM GMT
I now get up most mornings to back the outsiders in Australia, and this is just as lucrative and I just wish I had discovered
this before.
I only discovered the potential since the virus thing last March.Quite incredible that the Aussies have continued to
race throughout the pandemic.

Interesting. Pace or Thoroughbred racing or both?

Report Eddie Batt January 26, 2021 6:18 PM GMT
Are you backing or laying the Aussie outsiders Mike.I love the big Australian cards -the big advantage compared to Stateside is top class analysis from the mounting yard.
Report RothmanMike January 28, 2021 7:57 PM GMT
Only Lay, thoroughbreds.
Race net.com.au is my bible, absolutely world class punditry.
Whenever they use the words “not in this” against a horse, I lay it with confidence.
From memory, 1 in the last 12 months won.
Coverage on ATR is excellent, none of this bollox from would-be reality stars like over here.
A pain obviously to get up @ 2 or 3, but therapeutic with silence in the neighbourhood.
I try for c£30 then go back to bed.Not much else to do during this lockdown.
Report Eddie Batt January 28, 2021 9:22 PM GMT
Fair play Mike -I would agree with you about racenet and the ATR coverage.

Report jamee1 January 28, 2021 10:40 PM GMT
DQ was for whip as the rider of the 6 struck the 1 horse in the face.
Report wisewords January 28, 2021 10:43 PM GMT

Report jamee1 January 28, 2021 10:45 PM GMT

Report swiftynifty February 4, 2021 9:00 PM GMT
R6 Aqueduct. £5000 traded at about 1.05 the runner-up when they raced into the darkness.
