Anyone got any idea how many markets Betfair settle before inquiries are over. Noticed a few sporadically; 00.49 at Penn tonight been one. Was settled about 15 seconds after the race finished but after an inquiry launched. Winning horse been moved to last. It used to be that it could take 20 minutes for Betfair to settle some US markets; now 20 seconds (but erroneously).

Depends what night it is. Majority of bets are now settled straight away on the US Racing on FPTP

Was re-settled about 12 hours later.

Agree about what night it is. Last night had a race never put in play, one put in-play before the off, one put in-play after a furlong and an early incorrect settlement as above. And that's only the races I noticed.

ROY - the race never went in running. The green light wasn't on. Bets will be void after the off.

First race at Mountaineer now settled correctly

It was never put in play. Happens so regularly.

sometimes they settle the races within 30 seconds of it ending, but on another day they'll wait for results to go official every time. I think it depends who's settling the market on the day.
